    Tough to watch this amazing young man fight his emotions. He obviously loves this organization and this city so much. He has spoken of that many times. He is so talented and has so much growing to do. It would be an absolute shame to lose him. Summer break is coming at the perfect time for him. I hope he can get a mental and emotional reset during this time off. And I can't wait to watch him in the Olympics!

      @idkmybffjill9682 13 дней назад +9

      It wasn’t a false allegation tho. He hooked up with a 17 year old. The important part is he didn’t know and she was in an adults only club so he was safe to assume she was legal
      Giddy both did nothing wrong and hooked up with a minor. Both of these can be true in this specific situation

    Really impressed by this interview. Really thought there would be way more bitterness after how his season played out and ended.
    Not a single second I thought he sugarcoated something or wasn’t honest about his shortcomings.
    Hope he can reset his mind over the summer, work on his game and grow from a season that could really have thrown many youngsters under the bus.
    Good fit or not going forward, you have to respect how he handled this year.
    Maybe grow a beard, cut your hair and come back as a real badass. If not, remember that this team won 57 because he was a integral part of it and not despite.
    With a mindset like his after this season, there is no way he won’t be a better player and even better teammate going forward.

But in my opinion we need him, he's a great play maker and like everyone else is saying he's only 21. Can't build a team with trading players every year if they have a bad season. Stick with him and he'll help us win the Chip 💪💪 OKC 💙🧡

    For me the NBA have handled this so terribly!! Simply the fans need a response from the NBA regarding this behaviour towards a young player that could be the best Aussie basket baller we have seen in the NBA with his complexion and style of play and they let the world speculate all year on if he is guilty of very serious crime! The NBA needed to come out and suspend him or fully back Josh Giddy simple so why has this happened so sad! Very impressive young man could have ended his life over this but it looks like OKC have made there decision clear that they have not really give him the keys to run the game and get his stats up across the board! I believe last year he was on the verge of being an all caliber player!! Big l for the NBA

    I truly hope they can find a way to keep him and still draft or acquire a big man. Maybe cut Hayward, and draft or get a big man. Josh can do so much for this team. He may not want to but could be a great change for the team if he comes off the bench that way he can handle the ball when Shai is sitting and be that burst of energy when starters sit. He can do it all and i hope he stays and they figure out to make him and Shai work.

      If he goes there we will regret it he will come back and hurt us. Shouldn’t make direct rivals better if possible that trade will do that.

    As a Mavs watcher, i say he could play for Dallas. Big guard, movs the ball, needs to shoot enough to get him in the groove. Luka could help him.

    Playoff basketball sorts players out. Ben Simmons never recovered and I hope Giddey, another Aussie, doesn't suffer the same fate. He has been tipped to be the number 1 option for the Australian team at the Olympics, but I fear that responsibility is above what he is capable of. Perhaps a trade will be the best option, but right now Presti would only be getting unders for him. He has the potential to be like Magic Johnson, but psychologically he needs help. It's all mental with Giddey.

    I hope your agent/s are working hard to get you a trade mate. You don't fit this organisation.
    You won't grow under MD. He'll keep destroying your confidence and inturn keep destroying your game.

      Mate he didn’t have a great year. That’s not really on the coach.

    • @masterfa1con649
      @masterfa1con649 13 дней назад +4

      @colemartin7320 he may have had some offcourt issues that attributed to his lower output on the court, but MDs over rotations and lack of ability to read players' ebbs and flow had a huge impact on the team as a whole.
      Gids doesn't fit this team. Needs to run PG. Won't get that next to Shai and definitely won't get that under MD.
