In a weird way I think Chet being so thin actually helps him on defense. By the time you get into his body he has a leverage advantage because his arms are so long. His wingspan probably undersells how long he is honestly.
@@THUNDER-dp6ct The rebounds will probably always be an issue because he's so weak. It has nothing to do with effort. He's just pretty easy to box out or push under the rim and he does have a great nose for the ball on rebounds. But he is way too good defensively to ever be average. Though it's possible, even likely, centers like him become less rare over the next decade. And fouls are bad. Defending without fouling is a _good_ thing.
Chet is the most important he space the floor and could attack off the dribble and post up and do being handler of pick and roll like a gaurd and go off of off ball screens like a wing and catch lobs he can also start the break himself and that contributes into them playing fast and he can protect the rim and mobile which allow him to cover the rim
Yeah, but he's getting exposed already after that Game 1 they had. After that, it was Shai who was carrying them for 4 consecutive games. It's not clear who is the number 2 in this team, whether it's JDub or Chet.
Your actually right shai is better but Chet is more because he space the floor protect the rim and catch lobs and post up and attack off the dribble and he can run off of screens like a gaurd
Can someone anyone help SGA score. . How is it possible for okc to shoot the ball so terribly through out this series It’s embarrassing to watch really Get a true center okc Get some players who can help SGA score it’s embarrassing to watch
The 17 extra wins would indicate he probably is. Lol Chet is probably the best #2 in the league because of how he warps the game on both ends. There are better players, better #2 's, but outside of Jokic I'm not sure anyone caues as many problems as Chet because he really is a guard on offense. He reads the game like a guard not a big. Although I thought OKC got _really_ lucky though with how the tournament broke because there are two ways to exploit Chet/OKC. One is to just be big (LA, Minnesota, Denver) and beat OKC to hell on the glass and the other is to play small and switch everything knowing OKC can't make you pay in the paint (Phoenix, Clippers, healthy Pelicans, Warriors)
Lmao if you think OKC can’t punish you in the paint. They are the team that attacks the paint the most. Go watch Thunder games and see how much teams struggled to stop the drive and kicks
@@808bboarder Punish you with size. Offensive rebounds, post ups ... Bully ball A big reason why drive and kick is so effective is because teams play a traditional five who can't guard on the perimeter so if I take that guy off the floor you can't attack him. And it's not like Chet is going to post up 6'5" guards. He can't even move them.
@@ryanamburgy2791 JDub is the #2 option on offense but in the team construct he's their #3 guy. If they had to choose to keep one of them it'd be Chet and it wouldn't even be a difficult decision.

Lol Chet will be avg over time like last night he rocked 4 RBs no fouls also tells you he doesn't play hard

Chet isn't even the #2, JDub is.

Hopefully okc wins against the Mavs but if not then they can improve plus okc is really young
Watch his foot speed, and if you can locate the video find his jump rope ne.
Josh giddey got away with koitus with a child
Chet is a bum, especially on defense
now, OKC loses tonight
Oh ok lol
Nah we at home
