This was so well organized and enjoyable to watch! I'm coming to the UofA in September for first year engineering and I was a little worried on what the heck it was going to be like, but now I have a better grasp on what to expect, thank you! :)
hey how was your first year? Just wanna know coz I got accepted too, but I have heard a lot of horror stories about Engineering at U of A? Would be helpful if u could give ur experience?
@@fozanshaque6094 Hi! Well I can't say I can think of any horror stories but it definitely was/is difficult. I was expecting to fail out my first semester because I failed all of the first round of midterms. That happened because I wasn't taking care of myself as it felt like I was thrown to the lions. Highschool to uni is a big jump and I was unprepared. I think it's an adjustment everyone has to make but for some it's much more difficult. Once I made time for taking care of my physical, emotional, and relational health I found that my grades improved drastically. I think it's just like growing pains, and everyone says that it looks better from here on out :). I'm planning on getting into mece coop for my discipline next year and I'm very excited! Good luck on your first year, I'm sure you will do awesome! *The only horror story I could think of is people cheating on un-proctored exams. It's extremely frustrating for all the students who didn't cheat. I remember for one exam last semester, everyone I talked to including myself, found the exam extremely difficult and I expected the average to around 50. Then the average of the exam was like 67 or something but that was because tons of students had cheated but they couldn't all be tracked down. So that is really terrible and it seems that it just keeps happening smh
I am currently a biology student and going to Kinesiology next year and when I tell when I started watching this video for the first few seconds, I just knew I had to stick till the end of it. I love how the video has super helpful tips that could benefit all kinds of students in any degree. I did learn from it and please keep making videos like this. Super inspiring and well put together :DDD ❤️💃🏾
I m planning send my son to further his Master in Mechanical Engineering in University of Alberta Hopefully can give more informations 2 years of University fees and how much estimated of hostel Thanks 🙏
Depends on the class! Most assignments are due about a week after they are given. And lab assignments might have a different submission schedule. Your syllabus will have all that info for you
hey there, I'm in a final year of my bachelor degree (mechanical, India), and want to get admission in this university so do you have any idea about masters program? any advice from you will be valuable for me, Hoping for an answer.
