You point out the main reason I would be interested in having a 3D printer, the chance to broaden the choice of subject car models to build, such as 4-doors, that mainline kit suppliers like AMT and Revell don't see as profitable for them to make. Thank you Frank. I hope your videos stay up on youtube archives a real long time, for our future reference.
There are many reasons why I enjoy watching and learning from your videos. But I must tell you that a major reason why I enjoy them so much is, your such genuine person and the way you present your content and learning experiences it just works so well for this trainable monkey. Thank you Frank may you and your family have a blessed holiday season.
This is an absolutely fantastic presentation Frank. I'm truly enjoying this series on 3D printing while also picking up some good information I can adapt for my own journey. You do have a talent for doing these. Thanks for putting out this content, and don't let the gate keepers and other internet yahoos discourage you one bit. 👍
I've been printing and designing my own stuff for 5 years and it's a blast! I sell my stuff on my website and I'm getting ready to step it up on my 3D printing and designing new stuff on the way.
I definitely agree. Buying 3d parts has taken my models to a new level, and the convenience of getting parts ready to go at such a low price is hard to say no to! Someday I'll get a printer, once I make room, and I'll definitely reference your videos. Thanks Frank 👍
I really enjoy watching this series and appreciate all the good info, as I am just getting ready to try out 3D printing. I'm right with you, wanting to build cars from back in the day that would otherwise never be available.
Your info is invaluable. I was thinking of getting a printer for grandson (11 yo). That will now wait. I want one but I’m going to buy quality printed bodies and parts first to gain experience in painting and assembling resin models. Thanks Frank.
This is such a great series you are doing; I really appreciate it. This is the future of modeling for certain. I have recently been building some printed models, with each one I get better at finishing them, finding the "bad" spots and getting them right. I need to take the next step and actually buy my own printer.
Thanks Frank, what a awesome video full of information. I have several of his files (sorry I can't spell his name) and have not tried to print them. I have printed tires and wheels and engines but no body LLAP 🖖
Hey Frank, it’s Dana Halstead again on another one of your videos loved it. Wish I had the money to get me a 3-D printer but I don’t because of financial reasons was just laid off that’s besides the point happy holidays happy new year and have you seen the Coke commercialwhere it has the polar bears in it and the delivery trucks are all lit up. You should try to find one of those Coke delivery trucks and build it like that and put the little LED lights around it. That would be kind of cool.
Have a very Merry Christmas Frank to you and your Family. Thank you for your suggestions on the 3d printed world. I will be buying a printer in the near future, lol I'll probably name my printer Frankie 😂 Happy New Year my friend
Another fascinating video on 3D printing! I didn't realize the "glass" parts for models can't be done in a 3D machine, but need to be vacuum pressed. Ae there files for those in the kits you've built? Or, are they available somewhere else? LOVE the information you've shared here. You really present the topics well.
@@65marlin327 the files for vacuforming bucks are included in Alexey Bezrodny’s files, but I don’t know of anyplace that would prepare them separately.
