Fix Microsoft Team White Blank Screen Logon Issue

quick video on how fix the teams white screen at login issue
about 6-7 different way to correct the issue.
- checking the system to clock to match the dc
- compatibility mode options
- GPU preference for teams.exe
- removing old credentials and updating microsoft account
- fixing desktop shortcut to use teams.exe instead of update.exe

Very sensible & comprehensive list of things to try! "Sign out" from the tool-tray icon did the trick here - something about having changed my password seemed to chuck a spanner in the works.

I had the white login screen after setting 2FA (this occurred on a secondary laptop running Win7 - Yes, I know!) - none of the above were helpful.
Solution: (after trying above) Log on as ANOTHER USER, but put your normal credentials back in - All good! :)

gotta love having to go through all that crap to get the stupid program going. as opposed to Zoom, which has worked perfectly first time, every time.

@@videocommenter apparently I heard that Zoom is very insecure as compared to Teams. As I'm job hunting I encountered a lot of companies that refused to use Zoom due to the hacks & security issues. So my guess is security is the only reason Teams still exists.

Zoom is far superior. I almost missed a job interview because the PC version just opens a blank white screen when trying to connect via the meeting link. I had installed & tested Teams days before. Luckily since I'm in my late 30s I had enough experience with Microsoft products to expect a failure, so I had made sure to install Teams on my Android phone as a contingency plan. After 2 attempts I switched to Android Teams version & made it in time. Uninstalled it for PC, bless anyone who has the time & patience to troubleshoot Microsoft products. I applaud the poster for trying to help but I always prefer not having to fight my software to be productive.

DFA just went FULLY into effect for me (even though i've logged in with DFA over the past couple weeks), and I had to delete auto-filled username at initial login screen then manually type it in. Nothing else worked.

Had an issue where teams would only open normally if opened with admin credentials.

Hey Brenton, sounds like it was installed using run as administrator or under an admin account which messed it up for others , although from what I recall it installs into appdata. it would be unusual to restrict person for each users appdata folder
