The claim that Engin is too busy to train and compete because of East vs West is absurd. For the last two years he has had time to watch every armwrestling video/podcast (joining in many times) and read every armwrestling post on the internet it seems. The vast majority of armwrestlers work full time jobs and have families to take care of and still compete. What he has done at East vs West is amazing and he does deserve recognition for it. But it is not the hardest most time consuming job in the world like he wants us all to believe. And this constant need to tell everyone what a sacrifice he is making is a good sign that he is actually doing all of this for himself just as much as for everyone else.

Vitaly Is super strong, amazing wrist, superior grip, back pressure, fast and tall BUT , in my opinion, it's a one-trick-horse. Devon it's the most well-rounded arm wrestler, and the only way to beat him his just overpowering him by A LOT, like Levan did. Honestly I don't think Vitaly has that power yet, maybe in the future, who knows. But I'm pretty confident saying that if the match would be today, Devon would win.

Let us take a 30 kg dumbell bicep curl if someone can move it for 2 rounds and win over it but with difficulties for first 2 rounds.. Then he will loose to 35 kg dumbell that day and if he will try to push more he can injure himself that means artur become 35 kg dumbell in the 3 rd round and engin was not capable enough to win over him and injured himself because of overfatigued muscle tendon which can also happen to us in the gym if we go over our pr on the same day... Devan isn't just a great champion but also great at big heading opponents to the point they fell they don't have to train as hard and that is pure genius. Styles make fights and Vitaly is a BAD, BAAAD matchup for Devon.
The 2017-2019 devon in WAL is not comparable to his current form, becoz devon also struggled against ron bath, Jerry, Dave Chaffee, John, Micheal during WAL, but post pandemic Devon is a different guy, if we were to consider the matches he had with those guys in EvW and KoT.
So we cant say that because devon had some struggles beating mask during WAL, means that devon struggles with people with long leverage. Its just that devon before and now is not the same.
