When I first got my tt2 I was utterly blown away and still am to be fair after many months of use. The holographic presentation is noticed straight away , instrument separation , the headphone amp quality is insane . I haven't tried it with the mscaler but have no need for that at the moment. Im on the hunt to upgrade some actives that will pair well with the tt2 , ATC , PMC , Dutch and Dutch all on my list but waiting to see what new things are about.
Acoustic energy AE1’s Actives will work very well with the Chord Hugo TT2. They are a pure audio design, with no built in dacs, or Bluetooth, and have RCA and XLR inputs only.
@@richardattridge3182 nice one , I'll try and demo some I've heard good things about them and yeah I don't want all the daft extras they put in now , Bluetooth and streaming crap. Do you have a pair of Ae1s yourself?
Nothing particularly wrong with what he says, but it has nothing to do with a review, it's a sales pitch. Distributors generally rarely do reviews, because that includes detailed comparisons and valuation against other products, which tends to then emerge the few leading products. And that's not what you want as a distributor - you want to sugar-coat everything that you sell, so that you max your sales.

Very intelligent & articulate review, young sir...
I wonder what DAC is Grover Neville actually using in his studio…
