love my 28 pro, had it for 4 years now and not one problem. Just ordered the auto cycle to add to it, Chris and his guys are awesome and great customer service.
$535 for the kit, hoses, fittings and new valve. I will getting it this coming Saturday and I will be installing it. Will let you know real soon about the installation
Nice demonstration swapping wedges, shows off the ease of use! Recently placed my 28C order with Jesse in Vermont, nice guy! Looking forward to it's arrival!
I have had mine for a couple years now and it's one of the best purchases I have ever made. Word to the wise this machine is built to produce a lot of firewood, get the auto cycle it's a must have.
HAY BOB, NICE VIDEO... I REALLY LIKE THIS PLATFORM FER-SHER... YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! KEEP PUSHIN' ON. STAY COOL CHRIS AND BOB... PEACE FROM CREEL CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO... 🪓🪵🔥
@@BacktoBob1 my first video 3 years ago I split oak for 3 minutes on RUclips . Not very good video but cool memories. I had another splitting one with my father but not sure what happened to it.
I have the 35 SHO and really love it. I have the 12 way wedge and the welding looks incredibly strong and well built but I started noticing that it seems like the wedge part may be stretching wider making it loose where it slides up and down the splitting wedge. It is still working but was wondering if this is normal. My 4 and 6 way seems much tighter.
Like Chris said, try to use the 12 way on straight grain stuff but also make sure the logs going into the 12 way especially are square cut if possible. Thanks for watching!
At it again bob 👍👍 seen a video earlier on a shipment going out and you said couple where going to hartville hardware do you no which splitter where? Thanks 👍👍👍👍
We have been in talks with some friends over there. Bob would be the guy to get something set up if you would like to order one and shipped direct to you. Thanks!
We sure can! Rates can vary by zip code, so it's best to talk with sales for rate quotes. Pricing and rough shipping estimates on our website www.wolferidgemfg.com Thanks!
John if you want to see one in person I have the SHO model (bigger than this one) and I know of a 28C just down the street from me.. if you are in the Tacoma area. If not, let the crew at Wolfe Ridge know about where you are and see if there is someone closer..
Sam. The SHO models will allow you to tow longer distance and faster than this model shown. Just a thought in case you are looking for that kind of opinion. 😉👍
@samskeeter1 : they could, but not very far. I got the SHO model as I am 20min from my parents and wanted something that I could take to them if they needed it. Plus, no one in my part of the county drives under 45mph.
Nice demo Bob. Everything and more than most homeowners should need.👍
Thank you!

Awesome, glad to hear it!
How much extra was the auto cycle? Did you install it?

Love my 28 pro. I’ll be splitting well into my 70’s for sure. I may check into the auto return add on. Hats off to wolf ridge, quality products guys.
That’s great to hear, thank you!
Great walk around Bob and nice job showing the benefit of using the single wedge on that large round!
Thank you Bill!
Great demonstration! Nice work! 👍🪵🔥

I have a SHO, and it's been a blessing in production.😉👍
You’re going to love it!
Nice video!! I’m really enjoying the 28C pro
Can’t wait to see the next installment 🤙
Very nice looking machine and I love it 😻
It is hard to say what is the best, the Wolf Ridge splitter or the operator! Amazing job by both of you! 😇😇😇
Amazing job to the crew building these things too! Makes using them really enjoyable. Thanks for watching, Arne!
That is a nice log splitter, I like mine
Thank you!
Awesome machine!
Thanks for watching!
Definitely want to buy one now
I miss my 28 pro I loved that thing. I had some giant ash rounds on it log lift did not care
Did you ever do any video with the 28 Pro?

Nice machine!
Thanks for watching!
I definitely want to see this style of walk around on the HDI soon. Preferably the Kubota if ya have one.
Oh trust me, I want to do the walk around on that machine as well! As soon the next one is going through the factory we’ll get it done. 😎👍
Very nice!👍👍
Thank you!
One day I plan to own at least 2 wolfridge splitters .
That sounds like a great plan!
Bob, bring one of those up from your dealer in lower OR and let's demo it! Keep cuttin' buddy!

They definitely stretch over time. Best to use the 12 way on straight grained wood to avoid excess wear. Thanks!

I find myself using the one way more than I though I would. Probably because everything in my log yard is a gnarly piece of junk LOL!
Haha it’s nice to have that option for sure. Thanks for watching!

2 VSC's and a 28 Pro went to Hartville this week. More going there next week or so
Thanks for watching, Joe!
RICK'S OUTDOORS DOSENT RUN HIS AT FULL speed and it does a good job
Can this model be used in a commercial woodyard?
Absolutely, we also have the 28C that is faster for higher production
Yes indeed! It is built using commercial grade engine / pump / valves. Bronze slides on the push block even on our entry level machines!
Whats going on with the vertical splitter
Well into production now, about 20 or so shipped out to customers already. See our other videos to see how they turned out!
Hello, do you have any dealers in the UK ? Tanks James.

Do you have a dealer near Eau Claire WI ?
The factory is in Eau Claire WI

Stop asking stupid questions... Go to the website
We do also have a dealer in Oregon now, C&M Equipment they can help you out on the west coast.
A great rig. I just might have to drop the bones for it.
How much does that one cost
Thanks for watching, we have all prices online at www.wolferidgemfg.com 😊

Love your machines but I'd love this one more if it was sprung with mud guards.
We have those options on our larger machines. Thanks for watching!

Thankyou@@DanielAtkinsFirewood Those smaller machines could not be legally taken on the road here.

Further up the line you get fenders and suspended axle, HO and SHO machines have them. Thanks for watching!
Too slow for my me. But looks like a nice machine
Thanks for watching!
I used a wolf ridge and to be honest , not impressed at all , i like my country line 28 k from tractor supply far more and saved a hole lot of cash
