I've been trying to find a way to install the civil war mod but all the videos I find are half-assed and uses lingo I don't care to learn. Just want a step by step instruction video, and this one isn't even for the civil war mod even though that's what I searched for lmfao. Modding is such a nightmare.

Once the mod is installed I find myself with the world map different from the game map, for example: in the "diplomacy" screen it shows me that Venice controls Dalmatia, but Dalmatia is not there... that region is divided between Austria and Bosnia. Is it normal that this is the case or did the mod add regions and then did I do something wrong?
it's possible it is a bug bro I am not too sure, I know there is a few nonhistorical features in there but i haven't played it in such a long time things could have changed, sorry i couldn't be more of a help.

Hey ty for the tutorial, but I have a problem: when I'm loading a saved or autosaved campagin the game crashes, any suggestions?
When it comes to saved games the info should be on mod lib bro . I think there is some info on there regarding that other than that dude no suggestions sorry . If I find out I put the info up .
How do I do it without interfering with my Darthmod? It is acceptable for me to have whole separate games installed, but I need to know how to keep them apart.
Won't be able to dude they will conflict . I suppose you could have 2 separate games on 2 different steam accounts not sure to be honest never tried. There is a updated version out now my install guide is uploading should be available shortly dude .
Have issues with this. I cannot find the creative assembly folder for the scripts drop. I am using the steam version on windows 10. Installing to a slave drive not the main ssd. Can anyone help?
A few people had this issue bro try ad navigate your self to if . Or try installing on same drive.
for some reason my unit size isn't that large for being on the ultra setting. my russia campaign seems to have a max unit size of 220-240. I was hoping for more as seen in other people's campaigns.
I had same problem to dude If you have messed with the graphics especially unit scaling then i defaults . Restart the game and leave the unit scaling alone and fix the graphics in game bro .

sadly i cannot install this mod with installer its keep installing it to my c drive instead of e where the game is located even if i correctly selected path and eating whole space on c OS drive ??
Instead of using win rar use 7 zip and open it on your desktop. 7 zip will compress the files.
Is it normal or a bug that i am only able to build schools and smithies and western nation? It doesen't give me any other building options
That i dont no dude . I have been in contact with the creators to get info . As far as i now the mod still isnt 100 perc complete still a nice bit to di . What i have done is a feed back video where you can put your issue's in the comments and i have give a link to the creators so hopefully when they free they can answer your questions .
The mod keeps crashing around turn 40-50 when it comes up with Zaporozhian Host around the year 1700 or so
Make sure you doing Manuel saves in Roman numerals .
ask your? better to wait for the mod to get better. or is the mod completely fine with no errors. I mean they are still working on the mod that they are going to improve. and if i want to install the mod i have to uninstall and reinstall etw? i have now installed darthmod and now i am playing it. but mtw2 mod catches my attention.
The mod still isnt complete as far as i am aware . Dont think it would work with DTHM . Its up to you really i am playing it and havent no issues yet to be honest . If you can just unistall darth mod then you can install this one but if you want to get rid of this mod i would imaging you would have to unistall the game and reinstall as it changes scripts etc .
Nice and helpful Video ^^. But i have a Problem.
I actually had installed this mod before but i had it deleted because the mod (2.0/2.1) was at an early stage and for that unplayable for me.
But after hearing about all these new updates, im really convinced that this mod will play and work much better than before and now i want to try this mod out again.
The Problem is, its now 3.0 and 3.4 instead of 2.0 one and two and 2.1.
It seems that it has to be installed differently than the the older ones because it didnt worked when i did it like you showed in the video.
Do i have to install the 2.0 and 2.1 Version and then replace them with the updates or do i have to install 3.0 and 3.4 only but with an different approach?
I'm really getting a headache because of this so i would really appreciate your help.

Hey bro hope your OK. Now I have tried to help alot of people with a video but due to the creator being not happy with it they banned me from they discord so I am unable to help on the further patches sorry . They don't give a very good detailed install instructions I know as I have had many people asking . I do understand that it is installed differently and I will see what info I can get to help you our bro . This mod has give me a headache as it one of the most confusing mods lol . But I will see what I can do .

got the game working but cant play as Scotland or Ukraine faction, they do appear in the game when i play as another faction tho. not sure if this is still in progress or i screwed something up

Awesome tutorial. I'm having a few problems, though. My game still has protectorates and the unit size seems to be lower than I thought, despite following the tutorial step-by-step. Should I reinstall the mod again? Also, what about part two of the mod? Do we just completely ignore it?
Thanks bro . I am not to sure how to get rid of protectorate . But i think it has to do with the vdm version. The other mods I talk about in the tutorial . With unit sizes when you go into graphics dont touch unit scale . It happened to me if you restart the game . And use the graphic options in game your problem with unit sizes should be sorted . For some reason patch 2 doesn't need to be touched for some reason. Not sure why it gets extracted automatically. I think with the patches you have downloaded this is the base vanilla so to speak and if you add the vdm I am sure that will do the trick . But don't quote me on that bro . As far as i now the mod isnt 100 perc yet i am trying to keep up with info but i am very busy . So I have a good look tom and see what I can find out . As I want to now myself as i got the same issues as you .

Well I had a disagreement with the creator of the mod for basically asking questions . Then I was banned from their discord and following that I had a email and youtube saying that I have had a report of some kind against the video bro . And then a couple of other videos too so they were all taken down and I had a strike against me . So after that wasn't able to make any other videos .

Thanks a lot for the tutorial. I've just 1 question : I installed ETW from scratch via steam but there's no ETW folder here (C:\Users\Damien\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly). so I cannot copy/paste the scripts part in this folder. Do you have any idea of what can be done? Thanks a lot man!

Hey bro yeah I will have another install guide out tom . But if your download yes . Use 7 zip and extract to steam ,steam app, and common dude and make sure you drag and drop the scripts in to %appdata% dude it's a little different install process that the other ones .

Maybe im stupid idk or maybe im frustrated and tired of links leading not directly to what is shown, the mod download link posted doesn't lead directly to the mod downloads and finding it is a bit annoying. Just a small issue I see literally all mod guiders do.
Install seems to be inconsistent after watching a few youtubers and talking to other players. Seems some people have protectorates (13 colonies namely) and others don't.

Make sure when you unistall you delete everything to d with the the mod bro
Hey dude try this go to %appdata%creative assembly/empire/scripts and delete all the scripts . After that go the empire main folder get there through steam go into the main empire folder and delete everything inside of it.Then go to steam it should say you can still play but dont. Right click unistall the game . Once that i done exit out of steam and restart your pc . Then load up and this should work and the game should load . Hope this helps .

mine ran a self install when I opened that file
Mine didn't work..when I extracted file i got the one application and 10 more gigantic files. No instructions, no organized files

I can’t play all the factions
As the mod isnt finished yet maybe that is the reason as far as i now there should be 40 playable factions . And there is sub mods can can be placed into the game which i havent had the time to go over as i think its best to wait untill the mod is 100 perc complete.

Disregard. Uninstalled everything and redownloaded
I havent tried them .And it hard to say without seeing wh0at you done . Just make sure everything h0as been copied and replaced properly .
It worked fine for me and loads of others dude make sure eveything has been replaced it pretty straight forward and i am rubbish at installing mods lol

It hard to say dude i have only played darth mod on napoleon . It is a very good mod when it becomes more stable .

@@KeepitFrosty1 The versions have different numbers after them. I ended up downloading one that has everything in one file. It probably would have worked your way as well, but when I saw the version numbers were different I freaked out lol
