Hey everyone! I hope you liked the video. If you did, I'd love to think I earned your subscription. It really helps me to get more of these great games to show off! I subscribe to Strategy & Tactics (game version, of course). However that is very recent, and normally I just buy a particular issue/game that interests me. I have previously been a subscriber to Against the Odds mag, but I'm not sure they offer it anymore, and regardless I wouldn't subscribe again. I will just continue to buy issues as they interest me.
@@WayneHansen Thank you! When S&T release a new magazine with a game are most games 2 player games or do they also release solitaire games like this one at times?
I wonder if Monte Cassino uses the same system? I always thought Cassino was ideal for this system. The Cassino map is not as good as the zonal Avalon Hill game which is odd given the fact we are 40 years later and graphical design is so much faster done with computers. I am sure even a map or image done by an AI program would be better than this. I do NOT like the counters though for both games. Even the cut out counters from the book games by Lambo look superior to these. Why change that? I had high hopes for a Cassino game like Stalingrad with the same great art and counters, but I guess Stalingrad will stay the only one in my collection. Bummer. 😢

Nice to see the pic of Ambush! in the magazine. That game still holds a fond place in my heart.
Just started watching, you always do a good job, hope all is well
Thank you, my friend! The family is healthy, and things are going well. Life is very good.
