I’ve followed Michael before his breakup and now I’m watching him re-grow the new channel after he gave the original channel to his soon to be ex. I’m rooting for him. We’ve all seen the reason for his success as he may be the hardest working RUclipsr in the Philippines.
Two of my favorite vlogers, both have taught me so much about my move to the Philippines. After months of pIanning I am flying out next Tuesday with my 2 dogs and not looking back.
Work with the airlines about your dogs. I brought my service dogs over as I’m fully disabled. The VAT was acceptable, however I then brought 2 puppies over and customs assessed a ridiculous, obscene amount at 2 AM and stated pay it or we will just keep the dogs. It’s a long process and can be overwhelming as they are your furbabies and stressed out themselves but well worth it. Be patient, it’s just the way it is, stay calm everything will be fine, go with the flow it’s the Philippines.
With all the things Michael has done for the travel industry in the Philippines, and the good he has done for the people, the government ought to recognize him as the outstanding person he is and reward him with automatic citizenship.
I am a fan of both channels and especially Michael's as he is a fellow Canadian. I am planning to visit the Philippines and he has put Iloilo on the map for me. I am especially heartened by his charitable work. The Expats are guests in the Philippines and they live there to take advantage of the lower cost of living - no blame or fault there. It's obvious economics. The grace and happiness of the people seems to make it all especially lovely. It's a wonderful gesture of Michael's, to give something back.
Michael is a great guy. We love him for always being helpful to someone. I came to Iloilo to visit him but now my wife and I live here. Great interview
Michael has a good heart. Check out his video on cleft pallet and a recent one on graduation day in the hill country. He made a huge impression and a new direction. Good on ya mate.

Love Michael's channel. And I love this channel too. Different perspectives offer a more varied education. I am trying to learn all I can before arriving.
I enjoyed discovering Michaels original channel and watching a married couple travel and navigate life and new experiences in the Philippines. I found it odd when I sensed they were drifting apart but waited to see what was next. I never expected them to go through a divorce there and assumed the channel would die off. However when Michael started pumping out several videos per week on his own it kept me engaged. Now with Cat and the little girl I find a renewed enjoyment watching his interaction with them. I love the travel vlogs however with the new bar I know the channel will change again. I was always curious Mikes age as I knew he was to young to be retired. I do not see much coming from the other channel however his ex silly videos are not of interest to me. This was an excellent video and interview and I enjoyed learning the back story on all this. Good Luck to all !!
Great interview Rob and Chrissy and Michael 😊 I love both your channels and learn something from each every vid 👏 I’ll be on my second visit this year in a couple of weeks and so looking forward to it 😊

Hi.. I ran into your channel because you were interviewing Michael. Glad I did. Great interview. I've been to CDO probably 6 times.. and stayed at Seda or thereabouts close by. I like the malls there, but I get a different feeling in Mindanao than other parts of the Philippines... Is it just because of the area I was in maybe? I took a bus east to go to Siargao and was amazed at the beauty.. I know friends in Pagadian that want to meet in CDO.. but I'm not sure why... just not wanting to go to CDO... Airport for one.. So just was curious of your thoughts. Thx po
@@FlyMeToThePhilippines I have been there 2 times... 2020 and 2022 Pacifico Beach was beautiful in 2022 but sadly the typhoon wiped much of it out. The areas I loved were gone when I returned in 22.
