Love Always,

I’m born and raised here in Vallejo and never did the wine train however I would recommend Monterey California. You can experience great wines wine tasting and dine on very good restaurants especially local fresh produce and seafood and yes I’m a foodie and probably a serious foodie critic. Great video. Cheers!!
@@Thebigmilkfish That sounds AMAZING! I will definitely look into it and thank you 🥰
I’m the same way. I’m all about the experience. I’m not concerned with price. Experiences are priceless. Great video
Yess love that for us! 🥂
Okay editing😍. Go sissy❤️
Thank you love ❤️❤️
I looked up the price and although I love experiences not sure that it’s worth it. I don’t drink and would have been disappointed that wine 🍷 is not included and you have to pay an additional price. I’m surprised they didn’t have music etc. did you point out to the staff that they advertised moving around the train? Glad you were able to check it off your bucket list
I had to go back and read the site after to see but yess there wasn’t any music or anything so it was definitely disappointing in that regard but yes always glad
to do something new!
Great and informative video. How much, approximately, would you say your Napa weekend cost you?
@@ranwilso thank you! I believe I include prices in my Napa weekend guide on my blog linked in the description box that will help show you how much money went towards where, but I would estimate about $1500-$1700 not including the flight 😅
But keep in mind $400 of that was for this wine train!!
Can’t wait to try this experience , thanks for sharing !
I'd love to hear how it compares to one of the wine experiences in South Africa!
Thank you so much I needed this tips I was always confused how to do this trip. ❤you such a gem 💎
Aww thanks so much!
Interesting! I went 2 weeks ago and I was able to walk to other parts of the train to take pics. Also, music was playing during the ride. I agree, it would’ve been nice if wine was included. Overall, it was a solo trip for me and I enjoyed it. Thanks for providing your experience.
@@kjones2316 wow! Did you do the same Vista Dome Lunch experience? And glad to hear you still enjoyed it solo!
@@ChristinaJane Yes.. the Vista Dome express lunch experience!! Thanks 😊
I appreciate this video. I’ve always wondered about it. But NO WINE is included? For $400? 🤦🏻♂️
That's what I said lol. It's literally in the name so I am still shocked about that part. But glad you enjoyed the video!
Thanks for this video. I’m going to Napa for my birthday and traveling solo and was thinking about the wine train, but will pass since the experience doesn’t seem to fit a solo traveler
@@KweenK100 It wouldn’t be the first activity I’d book solo, but please do go for it if it’s something you really want to do! Happy Birthday in advance 💓
It’s California especially Napa wine country. Everything here is expensive 😊
@@elenaholden5218 I actually found Napa to be surprisingly affordable besides this train 😂
Very nice video. Thanks!
Thank you so much and for watching!
Wow thanks for this! I’ll pass now that I’ve heard your review. How do you call it the “wine train 🚂 “ and you don’t get wine with a 400.00 ticket. Ijs I’d rather go to the French laundry for 800.00
@@doctorj7112 I find that to be insane as well, but I still had a great time thank God! Let me know how you like that one 🥰
You actually can’t even buy a ticket for one online… I was shocked
@@iamerikka9774 YES! I forgot about this part. Thank God I happened to be going with someone. I wonder if its the same for the other experiences like the afternoon tea!
@ well I will be doing the 6 hr Legacy Tour where I believe you get a little more than the three hr trips. At least as far as the wine tastings at the different wineries you stop at. I think2 or three. You also don’t have to stay in your cubicle, you can visit the vestibule on the train for some fresh air as well. You could end up having many glasses of wine I was told. A friend that went said they had about 10 -12 tastings You can also purchase a bottle before getting on the train because the wine on train is $15 a glass like you said. So I guess longer ride offer a little more. I can’t wait for April! And I’m going during the weekday at $475 per person
@ I saw that option and it looks good! Sounds like you'll be getting more for your money for sure, especially if a meal is included. Have a great time and let me know how you like it! 🥰🥂
@ oh yes I forgot you get breakfast lunch and dinner! And at the end a dance party for the last 45 min of the ride… so I plan on enjoying myself. I watched your video to get some insight so I appreciate your video and yes I plan on having a ball!
For $400 wine should have definitely been included
@@carolynwardlaw9018 agreed! It’s ridiculous honestly but still a great experience!
