Never would have won it with him on the team. Sorry not sorry. Look how Jrue played in the whole playoffs. Completely composed, timely shooting, clutch performances. I respect the hustle and effort of Marcus but he was an anchor to Tatum and Brown’s development and Jrue is a MASSIVE upgrade in all ways.
I really hope they retire this man’s jersey for the dedication, I know they probably won’t because he isn’t a big enough star, but you really gotta give props to these roll players who played a long time there and literally built the teams identity!! Udonis Haslem is a great example of this, I know he has the rings though and was there a lot longer, but just an example!
