If you look 5-10 yrs ago there were clear goals for feminist and it wasn't to make women in our countries better but to level other women who don't have the same right, you can't climb all the way up to the mountain and then help someone else climb at the bottom.

@ i don’t think you realize that it is in fact very common for men to sexually assault women. for example, if you go to rainn.org (the largest anti-sexually assault organization in the US) and look up their statistics, you will see that the statistics for women to be raped is 1 of 6, and for men it is 1 of 33. and if those statistics only are about rape and are that high, then you can probably imagine how high the statistics are for sexual assault. i do completely understand where you are coming from and i think that it is very important to spread awareness about sexual assault and rape of men, but please do not use that argument as a way to invalidate a woman when she is a victim of sexual assault or rape. there is a time and place for everything.

they had to do all the dirty jobs the poor were doing, and living in the same conditions.
at some point one of the woman was told to spend the day being the 'manager' of the group. at the end of the day, they all got paid. but the woman manager, despite her doing a good job, only got 1/2 of what the men managers had received.
whatever the job, women were always being paid half of what a man would be paid.
still, employers always preferred paying a man double even though women labour was cheaper...
