In emergency ,many people, many time press accelerator in place of brake.
when i was learning driving...at that time once i had to turn the car in the lane..i accidently press the accelerator instead of brake at the turn...but thankfully i had habit of pressing clutch first then brake due to which the accelerator doesnt have affected the speed of car..

Car doesn't go into neutral just by pressing the clutch bro, what are you saying...You need to Engage Neutral gear for that. You press the clutch because it frees the tires & you get total control. Engine breaking will create unnecessary traction which is useless unless you're doing steep climb or steep decline. To engage heavy gears, you need to engage clutch first. Car already gets disbalanced when tire burst occurs, it's stupid to engage lower gears and cause more jerks & imbalance. Best way is to engage clutch & do proper steering control. Best way out. When i dont know gear level after the break in city areas. I simply shift the gear to neutral 1st while simultaneously breaking and continue with my hand on gear and foot on clutch without pressing and quickly shift gear as per my speed after the breaking. Its simpler in this way for new driver
Great video! I learnt two things when I just evaded a fatal crash. 1. Brake first, release throttle, use clutch only to shift down gears to increase engine break .. keep breaking 2. I somehow don't lose consciousnes control even a second before crash 😄 I think if one doesn't panic and knows the technique, most of these situations can be avoided

Engine braking also prevent wheel locking in non - ABS cars upto 25-30 km/hrs when sudden braking is required ...... With my experience....... I have able prevent an accident with engine braking .... It also help me to steer the car by certain degrees........ Soo engine is Good in an emergency situations in Non - ABS cars.

A better technique for emergency breaking is to do engine breaking in conjunction with breaking For example If you are at 100 kmph Press the break Downshift to 4th Keep pressing the break downshift to 3rd and so on I’ve found this technique to be better in case of emergency breaking As it can bring the car to a stop at much better speeds Obviously it may sound a little tedious to do but practicing it on daily basis and making it a habit will make you a better driver. Please post a video if you have not done for night driving left side 1-2 feet margin. I touch the clutch only when the vehicle demands an upshift or downshift. No clutch when downhill but in low gear according to gradability..
Engine braking also prevent wheel locking in non - ABS cars upto 25-30 km/hrs when sudden braking is required ...... With my experience....... I have able prevent an accident with engine braking .... Depend on the speed of the car.will decide should press both while stoping.if speed is more then 20 km no need to press clutch.if below 10km.u might use both.to avoid stall.clutch will be use in 2 condition.
1.while changing gears
2.driving on stop and go situation.to avoid car to get stall.else not required
Gagan sir, best infornation of cluth and brake! Pl guide me about confidence level while driving with bare feet and driving with shoes. Because i am always confident bare feet driving and i can't get proper judgement of pedals, with shoes.

Have always found your videos good and interesting. Specially this one is very much helpful for all people who have this judgement problem, I have developed this habit and driving from 2002. Please post a video if you have not done for night driving left side 1-2 feet margin. Also it would be great if you can explain on how to slow down your vehicle while you are on thin road and cross the vehicle coming from opp. direction, when to get down and how it can be avoided by going to very slow speed.
Generally new learner for car driving they r using sccoter practice while car stopping they use clutch n brake but it is very dangerous to them, always keep in your mind while stopping car use first bake n use clutch whenever u fint t speed less .

In an emergency, you should only press the brake and keep your eyes on the road for manoeuvring. Only when your RPM falls to basal / idle condition you should press ckutch

Sir G suddenly only brake lagane pr driver or passenger samne k windshield pr ja takrayenge or seat belt nhi Hoga to aage glass se takra k injured ho jayenge..so I think brake k sath partially clutch ka use krna Sahi hai.but brake first

But Gagan bhai emergency me clutch Aur break lagane se Car Jyada fast nikal jaati hai, Mai kehta hu agar Hum break pehle lagaye Aur speed bahot Kam ho jaane par clutch lagaye toh Jyada behtar rahega. Express way pe samne achanak accident hone pe Mujhe Yeh ehsaas huva.

Above 40-50 kmph no need to press clutch (as you don't have to change gear)
I agree with you Devendra. For fastest response, use brake and then clutch. Also never press clutch before applying brake as it will increase stopping distance.
