I cannot describe the respect I have for him. Am 39 his and me are the same age. I grew up listening this man every day he was one of my favorite as a kid bcuz he waa soo melodic as a dj.his levels of deliverance was totally different in his time cuming up, one scotch was my jam up to now. This was Nice. Chaka Demus is an honest person. There are some fast tempo riddims from end 80s beginning 90s which not everybody listens too like fast car, roadrunner, duck, Gathering etc that chaka have some songs pon it and are loved in Panama. LET JAH BE PRAISE LONG LIVE PETER TOSH LOVE HIS MUSIC BIG.

Bless up Teach Dem- One common thing with these artists beside success is a lack of education. Which might have contributed to their interests or lack their of in the financial part of the musics.
There are several ways in which you could look at it, but seriously if most of these guys were educated to what you, assume to be educated you would not have heard of them in this aspect. Music is more of a talent, and most of these artist in those era were more interested in establishing there craft, than thinking about money.
You spoke of the lack of education with the DJ's,look on the other side of the coin, the educated producers that rob them, which is more shameful????
From a long time I was saying, the music nowadays is going nowhere because the riddims are not standing out like in the 80s and 90s.
