I didn't realize that back then, but now I am so grateful I got to watch Raven in my teens!!! The character was funny, smart, adorable; a black girl, with a normal body! She was relatable, she was the friend you wish you could have or the person you wish you could be. Raven taught me so much about values and self love. Forever grateful.
I loved the dentist episode, when Raven was called “Dr do as I say”. I remember she was styling the little girls hair with toothpaste, and the little girl goes “What does this have to do with my teeth”, and Raven responds “if your hair looks cute, nobody will notice them nasty little teeth” and I was HOWLING!! 😂😂😂😂😂. There’s so many good episodes, but that was one of my favourites!!
