NGL, the first episode of Raven's Home S5 was high-key what I'd always hoped the show would be and I hope the change hasn't come too late for the show, cause I'd loved to see this setting and more Raven-focused setting with more familiar faces. I absolutely LOVE raven, we are the same age. I loved watching raven and was so excited to see her become a mom of twins like me!!! And now she only has one kid and Chelsea is gone too! So I’m a little sad to see this new cast with out them

that’s so raven is what introduced me to certain topics like the episode when raven wins a chance to model her dress and she couldn’t be because she doesn’t have the look. that episode was powerful to me because it taught young women and young men.
I like the new direction of the show, but damn they got rid of pretty much everybody. Hopefully they will make special appearance. Also raven looks great.

I was disappointed when I found out the other characters that we knew from the beginning wasn’t returning and I hate when Disney do that. They did that with Bunk’d. I do like the fact that they didn’t forget about those characters like Bunk’d did. They disappeared and was never mentioned but they did shocked me when Emma came back.
Ugh something about this pissed me off. I mean it’s business ok cool. The producers and whoever wanted to go a different direction FINE but to fire people then use that “we all grow” line is ridiculous like how did Issac Brown (Booker) get picked by producers over Navia Robinson (Nia)? They’re brother and sister. It just came off as really really phony and canned Hollywood answers.
I’m not a fan of reboots and spinoffs cause I think it usually ruins the originality of the original show but I’m not gonna lie Raven’s home reboot is probably on of the few reboots that’s going surprisingly well and didn’t flop

The cast changes will take a bit of getting used to, but since I missed the show SO MUCH, I'll give the new characters a chance. Too bad that Kyle Massey couldn't stay out of trouble, so that Cory, Newt & Maya from "Cory In The House," could be here as well.

Disney doesn't do season fives of any show ever. Franchises that are successful enough are rebooted after season 3 or 4 but most shows are just canceled. So, Disney definitely loves this show to bring it back.
