I grew up close to there. Still don't live too far away. We decided to take the dog on a little hike, and my hubby and I found the channel sticker. Great little pond
I lived close to there and went a few times but never knew those trails were there. We always went to the wild life blind. Its on a trail across from a picnic area and I believe its the swimming area. I remember a beach. I think you would have enjoyed the blind. Sorry you missed it, maybe you could go back sometime. ❤
Great history lesson there, Cliff. Been following you for years....better than reading a book; it's almost like you're there in that era, and you're taking us along for the ride.
Hi Cliff, the second area you hiked on the Ridgetop trail was cool because of the great signage. I did like the Dragonfly pond trail too because it was so pretty. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Aristotle said, "Only the dose makes the poison." WW, I love your work. You honor Pennsylvania. I know that you are from southeast PA, but I love the rare occasions when you feature Northwest and Northcentral PA (my stomping grounds for 70+ years). Keep on keeping on, bro. You must go to Poe Paddy State Park, the best state park in PA. Please, do it. Vern (I think that's your name), I admire you. You must continue your purpose now while you are still young enough to do a good job. You make a difference. Your work is important. State parks and PA counties are good benchmarks to explore. I am always so excited when you visit places that I love.
Nice trip and hike Cliff and thank you for taking me along. Thanks also for the interesting information on some plants. I'll stick to the over the counter stuff and read/follow those directions. Fact is, I don't even like to take an aspirin. Hard to think someone would feed his/her family whatever found in the woods, not inform himself/herself properly and "lucky" to wind up in hospital. Could have been much worse.
Perfect time of the year to see these beautiful parklands. There seems to be more new growth trees than old growth trees. Were these parks lumber camps??
This channel sticker has been found!
Your stop at the floating docks provides the best sunsets around! It's our family favorite. Nice job, Cliff!
Nice video!!! Yellow Creek is basically my backyard!
I love ponds and lake islands,
places of refuge for the imagination.
Yellow Creek is a very pleasant place. As always I enjoyed hiking with you Cliff. Thank you for the trip.

Awesome video. I've been to Yellow Creek State Park several times before, but had no idea of that area's significance in the French and Indian War.

I live close by (30 miles)...haven't been there in a few years but I have many good memories especially childhood memories.
Great video, as all of them are. I liked the lesson about the medicinal flowers. Looking forward to your next camping adventure.
The dragonfly looked like he was trying to say something to you
I love dragonfly pond. I want so bad to get on that island.
You do a great job in PA. I would like to see people in other parts of the country doing what you do as well.
