Dance in Cuba - Behind the Scenes: National Ballet of Cuba Rehearsal

As part of our DANCE IN CUBA series, we bring you an insider’s look into a rehearsal with the National Ballet of Cuba. The classical ballet company was founded by the Cuban prima ballerina, Alicia Alonso in 1948, and is now one of the most prominent companies in the world. Based in the illustrious Gran Teatro of Havana, they have performed in 58 countries and received hundreds of international awards.
Attending the ballet in Cuba is a highlight for many of our travelers, so getting behind the scenes is incredibly special.
