At this party, curated just for our group, our Cuban dance partners surprised us with this phenomenal dance routine. We thought it was just going to be a few choreographed moves but we were in awe of these talented dancers and the whole party stopped to watch them doing what they do best - showing off.
On our annual dance tour to Santiago, we work exclusively with Yanek Revilla and Sabor DKY, and each traveler is paired with a professional Cuban dancer from the company. The tour features highly immersive classes focusing on Cuban salsa, rueda de casino and other dances of the region. The program is open to beginning through advanced dancers and each class is separated by level to allow for maximum learning. Because the dancers in Sabor DKY are so highly skilled, we have many professional dancers that join this program.
Sabor DKY is one of Cuba’s premier salsa and rueda groups. The founder and company director, Yanek Revilla is widely considered the number one Salsero in the world and is a multi-award winning dancer and choreographer. We have worked with Yanek and his group for the last 10 years and his company is an integral part of our programs in Santiago, both for classes during the day and evening excursions. We love working with Yanek and Eduardo Revilla, and Sabor DKY.
