At the moment I'm using a regular DMX 192 Controller because my laptop is broken and I can't move my desktop computer next to the fountains, I should have my laptop ready in a few weeks with some proper software installed.
Hi . Do you remember me ? How are you ? I bought one of those small yellow pumps on Amazon and i Made a custom nozzle for it. Its amazing and so powerful. In this Days i Will make a video of it working. I Will buy soon a dmx switcher to use my pumps with dmx !!
Hey! make sure to use an appropriate DMX Decoder according to the specs on the top of the pump AND VERY POWERFUL FLYBACK DIODES!! or else you might burn the decoder. Other than that you should be good, the pump does last only 20 days running at full power with no stops when it starts failing you need to replace the carbon brushes, but if you have it not even at half power like I do then you should be good!
Hello, what do you really mean by DIY? I made this fountain without any specific special fountain equipment, it was all things I adapted, like pumps used to drain boats for example.
@@marcorromix The pump used costs about 100€ and it is a Sterwins 1000w 18000l/h it has an assynchronous motor which allows it to work with Inductive Dimmers (also DMX Dimmers) but make sure if you use a dimmer for it to have 10A (for inductive loads) or more and make sure the max power output is way higher than the pump's required power. Though this is not efficient.. It's costy to run, I recommend that if you have the money you should buy a pump from Oase, as they are way more energy efficient. About the nozzle it costed me around 20€ when i bought it, its a G4 and made of stainless steel, if you use this pump you will need something like it because it "straightens" out the water, I found this nozzle that is quite similiar on ali express you can keep looking for other ones just keep in mind the size you want and that they must have a little red piece (flow straightener) m.pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005003003873923.html?spm=a2g0n.productlist.0.0.50d8nTovnTovS4&browser_id=489c679c35c54b96a13d39a5529a549a&aff_trace_key=ec05b3a3b0ce494a9967194876d5e02d-1640392565819-02339-UneMJZVf&aff_platform=msite&m_page_id=17f048f19e719032cd512264c8a420b974bfe2899f&gclid=

I'm not sure what to recommend you because some nozzles like the 3/4 threaded ones you we're talking about create really thin jets, I think your best option is to buy a garden hose adapter and use it as a nozzle but you might need to make your own flow straightener (which I don't really understand how to)

This is amazing! You got a real talent, never give up!
Thanks so much!
This is incredible! Hope to see more! 👍
You are getting there, looking forward to the "How DMX works" video.
Thanks, I can't wait to see this with some other pumps and extra LED Lights in the big pool.

@@LidicoFountains for the pump I have also had to buy a huge power supply to make it work, because it's 5.4 ampere and it's a lot!!
@@djedo7875 Trust me I know that! I plan on buying way more of them and power supply is already a headache
If i buy a dmx switcher Will i burn the pumps?
@@djedo7875 Not sure, But I use dmx decoders and they work for the yellow pumps...
