Good day, i had a P2112 code says throttle actuator stucked closed, i already replaced the throttle body with a brand new one, cleared the code and still comes back as "pending". The mechanic says that it might be a faulty wiring to the ecu?
I had a solid check engine light for 2 drives. I checked with my scan tool. P0420 (catylatic Efficiency below threshold bank 1) 2016 Tuscon. It popped up after I hit "sport mode" to get onto the hwy. Then I hit "eco mode" when I got up to speed. Right away I noticed the light and was angry. I took it to the dealership, because it's only at 78,000km and covered under the power train warranty. The mechanic said it's become a "stored code" but I don't know if that's because they tried to clear it. Or it cleared itself from them starting it so many times? They said they can't do anything to it unless it's active. I think if I go on the hwy and bring the car back to them. It would come on again. What do you think?
They should be able to clear a pending or confirmed code. If it’s stored in the ECU then your light should still be out. The light should be activated when it’s a confirmed code.
I have P0171 confirmed code and P0171 pending code? why would it show pending and confirmed? meaning another issue under the code maybe starting so two issues instead of 1?

Thanks for the video. I have a 2007 Sub with only 74 miles. Check engine light turned on with OBD code P0446 (Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit 1/1. I've replaced the gas cap, vapor vent canister valve, vapor jumper wire and the Emissions Vapor Canister Purge Valve Solenoid EVAP Vent ( I don't think it's necessary but I did it anyway). Cleared it and the check engine light is gone but after driving 93 miles, the I/M is still not ready with a combo drive of city and fwy. Drove it for another mile and after 6 cycles, when I run the OBD at 94 miles to see if it's I/M ready, unfortunately I see the same "pending" P0446 code despite driving it up to 110 miles hoping it will clear on it's own. So I decided to erase the pending code/OBD and did the same thing again. Drove it up to 92 miles without check engine, still not I/M ready and at 94 miles still not ready and the "pending" p0446 code is back. Should I continue driving it in hope that it will go away since it's not giving me a permanent OBD code? I'd appreciate any suggestions on what to do so I can get this smog. Btw, I/M reads as: PdDTC (1), Evap (X), Cat (X) and the rest has a check mark/ready.
Cleared my check engine light on my 2014 bmw x5 with cata clean. Which is awesome. However, the fuel catalytic converter; efficiency below limit value is showing on my BMMulti System Scan tool? I clear it and drive it for 10 minutes and the code pops back up again on the reader. Does this mean I have no choice but to hand it over to a dealer? Just want an inspection sticker. If I bring it in now; the inspection station scan will pick up the fault code as my code reader does, even though I don't have an engine light that is active. Any suggestions please?
Sounds like your catalytic converter is either dirty or bad. You can try cleaning it with lacquer thinner. I’ve used this method with success on my car. Here’s the link to the video I did showing how to clean it: ruclips.net/video/sIc0u9o_IG4/видео.html
Chances are if your check engine light is off what you are seeing is a permanent code. I am not sure the BMMulti calls them Permanent codes they may have another nomenclature for them. The strategy I would follow is to drive the car 200 miles and get 15 warm up cycles completed then take it in for a smog test. Oh I am assuming you are in CA. In CA the smog machine ignores permanent codes after 200 miles and 15 warm up cycles. MOst other states do not even take them into account so you should be OK in other states with permanent codes.
