The aircraft model is old but the Iranians manufacture new parts for these machines so they’ve probably been rebuilt a couple of times. Why not the other two. On my IPhone earlier I was looking at Scottish mountains so not technology. It was either mechanical failure or technology failure

If iran knew that their aircrafts were old & needed updating why wouldnt their president, request to be driven rather than fly?
Long journey; longer by road. But if Iran can hit a a shipping container at 500 miles whilst dodging all sorts of radar and air defence why couldn’t they get the helicopter to miss a mountain. It’s not because the machine is old. Google maps fits in an IPhone. What sort of technology is needed to tell you a big friggin mountain is on the horizon? So did something interfere with the electronics? Is blaming US restrictions on technology a hint? Was the fog just a stroke of good luck benefitting the assassin?

President Ebrahim Raisi found a way to sort the problem out last month when Israel 🇮🇱 stroked Iran 🇮🇷, he just went soft now he’s out of duty. It’s tragedy but ones never trusted his enemies.
