I am an English teacher who looooves teaching phrasal verbs, I even made a podcast all about them. But I learned so much about them from you! Like right now, I'm just here refreshing my phrasal verb basics with you, because you really do it best!
As far as I know, you use BETWEEN when you are referring or comparing two things. Of the other side, the use AMONG is when you are referring or comparing three things or more. If you want to be sure, you can double check with English Grammar Rules.
Invaluable channel! Hello from 2022! The fact that the author took care of the written materials that can be downloaded is a great example of high professionalism.

Christian! You're one of the best teacher that i've had! With you, i specially learned how to find their meanings out. Loving you From Dominican Republic. Peace.
Nice, great tips! Phrasal verbs really are so important. I try to teach them to my students every day because I think it is one of the best ways for English students to develop more advanced English. I've been making videos and writing an e-book about ways to learn new phrasal verbs, and this video is also really helpful.
I interpret the 'up' in the phrasals: eat up, break up, get up, look up, etc., as giving a sense of fully completing an action or process. Anyone else see this?
Hi that was a very useful as well as effective class on phrasal verbs. I benefited a great deal from it. Another thing that I want to comment is your teaching style. You use a different variety of methods and some amount of humor that make your class more interesting and lively.
Its good to see an empty Vegemite bottle recycled as a pencil case in front of you! I also love Vegemite! Actually its my acquired appetite since i came back first after my new year's trip to Australia lol. So beautiful country!! I m a big fan of Aussy style!!

Dear Christian, when we can find listed the first and more used phrasal verbs? Thanks in advance. PS: this is another great video. I am sure l will watch it more times.
thanks for the class!!! there is something I've found strange....maquillarse? isn't it do make-up? use make-up, apply make-up... I've never heard "make up" with that meaning before, only as a noun (with the hyphen)
👉 Hi Christian! @Canguro English, are you sure that "reading" 07:04 is an object? How come? I thought "to go" was an intransitive verb. When you say, "They went on strike to demand proper health measures," you cannot replace "strike" with a direct object pronoun (e.g. "They went on it") . I believed stative verbs, also known as verbs of feeling (and certain action verbs (also called dynamic verbs)) , were likely to take gerunds as their objects.
Actually Christian, I think I am going to contact you about literature / book recommendations. I've studied a bit about cognitive linguistics, but I'm wondering about the best summaries about the history of English, or anything else that would help in deeply understanding and teaching phrasal verbs.
Thank you so much. It's good to know that there's some kind of order to the nonsensical phrasal verbs. For spanish speakers, phrasal verbs are difficult to grasp. I've tried so hard, and the only phrasal-verb-like expression I could find was "venir abajo" as in "el edificio de vino abajo (se derrumbó)" I remember one of the first times i heard some phrasal verbs was the verb "print out". I had to hand in a paper but had it in a flashdrive. My teacher told me that I had to print it out. I immediately walked out of the classroom trying to find some printers right outside. I found none. By the way, is there any rule of thumb that gives you a broad idea of what the prepositions could mean? Some kind of educated guess? For example, I've heard people using UP as in getting or acquiring something: suit up or partner up. However, I don't know if we could generalize for most prepositions.

Thank you.

Are phrasal verbs what we call them idioms or different?!!
An answer please.
What is the soundtrack at the end of the video?
