    The errant string on the towel and the random strand coming off one of the other plates was wild considering the attention to detail on the other components. Pretty wild they escaped the kitchen.
    Finger lime is such a great ingredient and I wish it was readily available.

    Since we missed the ants at NOMA, I'm glad you were able to catch up with them! Looks like an amazing experience. Gotta plan a trip down under.

    Matt did you visit Brae while you were in Victoria or any of the restaurants down on the Mornington Peninsula? Definitely agree Attica is a special occasion place. You did well to get in.

      @@diatomsaus . There are much better places to eat. Shewry is a complete and utter wanker and his food is over rated.

    • @diatomsaus
      @diatomsaus 4 года назад

      @@ManfromJapan12 Price-wise yeah, but this isn't constructive is it? Like how is it bad, what aspects? If it's just overpriced, well that's "fine dining" for you.

      @@diatomsaus . Ok. So the food was nothing in the wow factor . Norhing that stood out. I have had more exciting food for a lot less. Food that i could have cooked myself . When a restaurant of that supposed caliber fails to deliver on wow factor then nin my eyes they have failed to deliver . As i said nothing really impressed me on the menu and i found the food kind of common

    I love fine dining, but these dishes were a bit on the pretentious side. Might be great, but I'm a steak and lobster, crab or Sushi kind of guy. Throw in a cheese plate or a Caprese salad and I'm happy. A Bourbon cocktail or Scotch to drink or a nice Sake with Sushi. $200 is usually enough for a great experience.

      I love all that too - it’s not ‘fine dining’ in 2019 though.

    you picked now to go back to Australia when the whole country is on fire... well that is odd timing, also if you are in Melbourne and want Auzzie history the Melbourne Museum was running an Australian history exhibit when i was was therre 2 - 3 weeks ago.

    "Is it Kosher" - haha! I once had (at a Kosher restaurant) a "Shot of Chicken Soup" as part of a starter - had a small piece of carrot, a small piece of kneidl (matza meal dumpling) and a shot of chicken soup in a shot glass. Worked really well!
