200€ automobile (ep4) it doesn't start,i can't find the problem.

- My peugeot 206 wich i bought for 200 € doesn't want to start correctly,and stumble of idle.
I try to diagnose the problem,by looking at the throttle position sensor,the spark plugs,and some sesnor wich was completly missing,a pressure switch on the power steering hydraulic line.
The best way to test a thermostat is to put it in boiling water.
Yes,the temperature is spot on this way.

Je ne l'ai pas encore testée complètement,il y en a deux,une pour le tableau de bord,qui ne fait que donner des infos visuelles,et l'autre qui informe le calculateur.
Il faut que je la teste au bornes du calculateur,et pas seulement à ses propres bornes.
Il peut y avoir une résistance indésirable qui va modifier ce que devrait voir le calculateur.

It is registered in the region it's in still today,wich is "rhone alpes"
Before ,cars had a licence plate numbers combination with a code, a 2 numbers code wich was the departement.
It changed at each new owner.
then it was a combination of numbers and letters wich didn't change and was given for the vehicle 's life. at the end you had the region name and the departement 2 numbers code wich could change following the owner adress.
Then you had the possibility to choose whatever 2 numbers departement code you want whatever the region you live in.
It's the code you see in a logo on the right end ,each region has a specific logo and its two departement numbers.
Maybe because your RPM gauge doesn' work? I had similar problem and it was my crank position sensor, that's why my RPM gauge was not working and also the car was not starting.
It's possible.
But the car is starting fine once it's warm,and over the day.
The first cold start is very difficult,not the following ones.
The rpm problem is ,as far as i kjow,a dead micro motor,wich can't actuate the needle anymore.
I would need to see if the cranck position sensor has a relation between the computer and the gauge.
Maybe it's a weak signal,not clean enough for the computer,or a fuel issue,or a valve adjutment,too tight with a cold retracted parts ?
I'm working on it.
Could the immobiliser be sticking at times?
I don't think since it's always with a cold engine problem,warm it's starting ok.
@@michaelovitch Our 406 was quite difficult to start from cold the older it got. I wonder if you've got a fuelling issue.
@@jaggass I think too,it's a cold start problem,not when the engine or weather is warm.
Could be the valves wich do not close completly,i have to check their adjustment.
Could be the cranckshaft position sensor wich is giving a weak signal,insuficient at low rpm,because it's dirty with metallic dust from the cluctch giving up,or because it's just old.
I don't know yet.

Is it OB1 or OB2?
OBD 1 ,so i don't have a lot of informations via the OBD plug.
It's limited to few sensors.
I need a better diagnstic software.

La moitié des gens qui regarde parle anglais,l'autre français.
Il y a plus de Français qui parlent anglais,que d'anglophones qui parlent français.
C'est pas évident pour moi ,déjà de faire l'effort de parler,et en plus anglais,alors je ne sais pas trop quoi faire.
Si je parle les deux langues ça irait ? ou alors des sous titres ?
@@michaelovitch c'est ta chaîne et tu es libre de faire ce que tu veux, mais si c'était moi je parlerai français avec sous titres anglais comme ça tout le monde est content et tu galères pas trop pendant que tu fais la vidéo mais bon évidemment ça demande de faire les sous titres à chaque fois...
@@michaelovitch mais bon dans l'ensemble ça n'a pas une grosse importance parce que ce qui est agréable ce sont surtout les images et le fait que tu monte toute les étapes, disons juste que le fait de t'entendre galèrer en anglais en même temps je trouve que ça déconcentre un peu
