Absolutely Amazing, been following most of your tutorials, just finished Darth Vader, Rancor and Jabba. Just bought the marvel core set and will be using your tutorials to paint them. Thanks for the videos and keep them coming.

Absolutely insane. I've been a fan for a long time and can't believe you get better every episode. I didn't think you could do any better! Such an inspiration to watch you and learn from you. Thank you so much!
Once again you amaze me, sir. As a novice painter normally this would discourage me since of course none of my models come close to this level of quality (the whole skin layers thing blew me away), but in all honesty, this only motivates me to learn further! I think I need to practice how much (or little) I thin my paints, it's the hardest thing for me so far.
I am not a figure painter, but seeing this makes me want to go and buy a cheap figure and give it a go. Great work. Thank you for sharing the details of the process and materials.
Truly masterful painting yet again. I find white to be one of the most difficult "colors" to get right. I like the idea of using cooler tones for shadows, and warmer tones to create volumetric highlights. I always have a hard time trying to define what should be my darkest shadow color when painting something white. White is just a chalky challenge, but it appears the use of many, many, many gradual shifts can create a smooth transition. Thanks again for another inspiring video.
Thanks a lot John! I'm glad you found some of the ideas I used for the white useful. I think I was actually a little heavy-handed in places (could have thinned the paint just a little more), but I'm glad the main ideas came across OK :)

Hi Jude - good question! I like to control the saturation just to give me another form of contrast; so I might desaturate the base/shadow tone of the skin for example, so that I can then create interest by pushing the saturation up for certain areas (like I did here when I pushed the reds in the cheek and nose area). :)
