Don't think any of these girls regret doing BABYMETAL. They got to meet many famous bands and people like Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande (Yui's favourite artist), Korn, Rob Halford... They brought joy and happiness while touring the world having fun on stage. It was certainly an exhausting journey but one they will certainly never regret. Not many people get to experience a 20k something crowd chanting your lyrics or a 60k crowds at a huge prestigious festival cheering you up and doing circle pits. But I'm sure that's something you never forget and never want to. :)
Nice that you played the Budokan version. I saw many performances (I D Z, 1997, SSA2015, Tokyodome) of this song but not this xD It's not one of my favourite songs, but the Call&Response parts in this song gets me everytime. @Trash Talkers i don't know if you heard the crowd in the beginning and during the whispering of Su. Also the Dub-step breakdown/dance is watch worthy.
I love this song. It was great in the early days before the Kami Band. I don't really like this version because the crowd is so far away. This is a crowd interaction song.
YES!!!! This is my go to pick-me-up song. Whenever I'm in a funk I throw on this track, this exact performance interestingly enough ;), and end up with a smile on my face (and a slight sweat) by the time it's over. One of the aspects that I appreciate about Babymetal the most is how eclectic they have been in their music. They've incorporated almost every sub-genre of metal/rock with so many different other genres and continue to expand their catalog with each album. Their most recent, "Metal Galaxy," took this to another level by branching out to other genres in the world, from Bollywood style music to Latin Jazz. So you were in a band called SHI ... in that case you should really react to a Black BABYMETAL (No Su) song written by Yui and Moa (lyrics and music) called '4 No Uta' (or Song 4). The reason - shi means 4 in Japanese, but it is considered an unlucky number (like we have 13 in the west) because shi also means death. The song is saying lots of words have 'shi' in them but don't mean death so neither does 4 and it is just a superstition. Not sure if this was the right night but if you have Blu-ray and you look close you can see that yui has a loose bootstrap that's about a foot long when they were up on that middle platform 10 ft in the air she even stepped on it a couple times it was a miracle they didn't fall off of there that being said she did fall off the stage during that same concert series

You should do some Black Babymetal next, you have heard how awesome and talented Su is, next you need to chheck what Moa and Yui can do together without Su. GJ! or Sis. Anger from 2nd album, Metal resistance are both heavier than Black Babymetal songs from the first album; Onedari Daisakusen which is more rap/hiphop i'd say? and ofc Song 4 (4 No Uta in japanese) is written by the two themselves, more chanty crowd engaging song. those are 4 good songs, whatever you might pick, please do them live. :)
@@Hollywood6IX Song 4 is definitely special one. Moa and Yui wrote lyrics and music in their tourbus in Singapore as challenge from Su to write song about number 4.. in 2013 (I think), so they were like 13-14 years old.

A couple of suggestions that I think you guys will enjoy; I remember smokey said he was a big pro wrestling fan, so I think you guys should react to "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge. It's an amazing song that smokey will probably recognize straight away. The other is X Japan, a Japanese rock band from the 90s. They were the Babymetal producer's favourite band and one of his biggest influences when he put Babymetal together. Babymetal have taken a huge amount of inspiration from X Japan, as have basically every Japanese rock/metal band nowadays. Try "Kurenai" from "The Last Live" in 1997 at the Tokyo dome, the crowd is unreal.

@@Hollywood6IX Song 4 is definitely special one. Moa and Yui wrote lyrics and music in their tourbus in Singapore as challenge from Su to write song about number 4.. in 2013 (I think), so they were like 13-14 years old.

Doki Doki is an onomatopoeia that represents the sound of the heart beating strongly in the face of something thrilling. Uki Uki is a mimetic word that expresses an uplifting feeling of anticipating something fun or happy.
A couple of suggestions that I think you guys will enjoy;
I remember smokey said he was a big pro wrestling fan, so I think you guys should react to "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge. It's an amazing song that smokey will probably recognize straight away.
The other is X Japan, a Japanese rock band from the 90s. They were the Babymetal producer's favourite band and one of his biggest influences when he put Babymetal together. Babymetal have taken a huge amount of inspiration from X Japan, as have basically every Japanese rock/metal band nowadays. Try "Kurenai" from "The Last Live" in 1997 at the Tokyo dome, the crowd is unreal.

So happy you did this one! Awesome song and Babymetal sure are special! Many people have suggested Black Babymetal, which would be awesome. Su is amazing but the songs without her are fun and great too. 4 No Uta or song 4 would be my pick to start with.
