Custom chaos trials might be the best thing they can add into this game. It has so much potential for a community game mode, and will allow us to create load outs and scenarios not possible in an actual run.

I miss the cheese of posiedon dash. In hades 1 I cleared every weapon on 32 heat by just ignoring my weapon and splash dashing around. For hades 2 I actually had to learn how to play the game and use the weapons to beat 32 fear with all of them. 😂
You can do a lot with zeus's omega cast and lightning lance for 32 fear; stand at a distancr and spam it for a ton of safe damage. Works with any weapon and aspect, so no need to get good 😂

Got it to level 21 the other day, through Hera's sacrifice stuff
Had her sprint, got her duo with Zeus, sacrificed all the Zeus ones, got her sprint to level 13. I got offered a sacrifice boon, which are better because of her, Hephaestus sprint at level 17. And then, Zeus sprint, same thing, at level 21
It was like 70 something damage per 0.15 seconds
I guess you could say sprinting is a good way to kill time ... I'll see myself out.

Bro is here using only sprint to win without a single use of Death defiance whereas the majority even fails to conquer chronos once.
Well, it is quite easy to learn his moveset after 40+ runs
and that is the proof that you can kill chronos by aggressively sprinting.
You got lucky that you didn't get born gain late because I'm almost 100% sure that the sprint doesn't trigger born gain.
Almost sure? The game does say 'whenever you run out of Magick', so I feel like that would include any new sources of Magick consumption, including this.

@TheTrueCopyUniverse it could probably be a bug since there's only been one patch out. But from what Ive seen it only works when you try to channel an omega move. Im not even sure if it works with smithy sprint (that one im not sure on tho).

The build i used to beat chronos the first time was using the aspect of thanatos and getting psychic whirlwind and zeus boon to apply lightning from the attack and the boon that triggers the effect immediately when you sprint close to the enemy

Do the bolts from your sprint proc Fluid Gain? Bc then Fluid Gain would be the preferred gain boon here. Heph’s gain also works since you can regen the magick from getting hit even while consuming it.

Yes, but only for the omega cast. This run does not use omega cast
Hephy sprint with Poseidon+Apollo Duo is what I did once. The damage was underwhelming, but Fixed Gain is good for sprinting build. After seeing this I think I might try Zeus sprint + Heartthrob Duo and either force Fixed Gain or gamble Chaos for a lot of magic regen.
I saw this video and attempted it myself. I started out with the Zeus dash, but ended up swapping it for Hephaestus' dash. It was surprisingly powerful just having that as my damage. It was an epic boon and I upgraded it a few times. I actually won and it was very amusing beating Chronos (the smug bastard) with nothing but a dash. It's crazy that just a few days ago was my first win and I was struggling hard with the Chronos battle and now I've killed him like 4 or 5 times.
With born gain on the sirens, assuming common no poms, you would have had 2205 magick to use. I don't think you came close to that number

@14:27 question, when you reroll the Apollo/mini-boss door, how do you know that it will turn into Zeus or Hera? I am new to Hades and if there's a way to narrow down reroll targets, that would save me a bunch of rolls.
Pretty sure it's bc once you take boons from 3 gods in a run you won't get offered boons from gods other than those 3 unless u put on a keepsake for them.
In hades there's something called a god pool, once you have boons from 3 different gods you will only see those gods on doors. Since the door was apollo, and he had zeus and hera, and since mini boss doors only give boons, he knew it would be one of those 3.

In the Hecate fight I once managed to get her hex to hit her, cancelling the effect. I haven’t been able to replicate it though, maybe you can?
Hey, I noticed at the beginning that you mentioned "if i roll either of these poseidon or hephaestus doors it's going to go straight to zeus" - I was just wondering how that actually works? Is rolling a non-pool god guaranteed to turn it into a god that's already in your pool? And are there any other useful tips about rerolling doors that might be out there?
Loving your content btw - I got my first 32 heat run in hades 1 cleared the other day with demeter fists, and I 100% chalk that win up to your explanations and examples of how the god pool works and how to target specific helpful rewards.
If theres in total 3 gods, in your pool or in the choices, the reroll will always give one of the gods in your pool. Rerolling again will give you the other god that's in your god pool.
This unfortunately got kind of changed today and is a bit tough to explain. Miniboss doors can kind of look at what gods you've already taken and generally can offer 3 different gods when rolling (some of the stuff isn't 100% I should say). If you've already taken 3 out of the 4 gods that you can see in a run (this just got changed today) the door will probably have 2 gods you already have and 1 new one.
I think I gotta make a video on this, it's so hard to type out lol.

@@seinao3085 Upgrades into giving you max health and blocks projectiles (sometimes jumps on enemies, but that's rare)

I think at this point what we know is gift all the gods at least once and wait - it's an incantation in the cauldron that unlocks it
You need to unlock an incantation for that. I believe it shows up if you gift every god at least once, but not sure.

Since you need to wait 1sec after using magic for it to start regenerating, not building your mana pool back and using it as soon as it is up is a huge waste

Can someone explain to me the significance of having 3 gods?
Once you have 3 gods in your “pool”, you won’t get any new ones (except from things like the Charon random bag etc.)

If you already have 3 gods, Charon random bag can only give you one of those 3, not a different one. Selene, Hermes, Chaos, Artemis, Circe, Medea, etc. don't count as one of the 3 gods
