The HECU marines have much smoother and flowing visuals. Everything from modell to animation. Weapon sway really gives of a super modern game design. Can't put my finger on it, but everything looks smoother than the released product. You can also see what limited inspirations they had for a 3D shooter and why its Quake 1 and Quake 2. Everything from lightning to level design and fonts.
if the lighting on some of the parts were more softer, i would say it somehow looks so much better than the original, like the contrasts ons some parts adn that is msotly dark in a way is really nice
Unfortunately I cannot change the lighting within the levels, these are the original compiled alpha BSP files that have been edited, we don't have the original .map source files
