Imagine pulling the drain plug first and draining out all the fluids. Then for whatever reason you can’t get the fill plug out. It’s seized or you strip it, whatever. Now you have a problem. How are you going to refill?
I honestly thought you had to take the cover face off..? Do some vehicles not have a drain plug is that why I’m thinking the cover has to come off? That was super simple

Its the same process and same position of the plugs for an LS3 ?
