In Demian, Dami was worried that she was going to hurt Sua during the move where she puts her hand on Sua's shoulder and jumps forward. She had to put her full weight on Sua to do that. Sua told her not to worry and just make sure to look amazing. Demian and Shatter are my two favorite Choreos from them.
I really love how, since release day, Propose instantly became my favorite DC song ever. The power, the darkness, the chills all along never left me till this day. Something of interest about this album, it was the first Dreamcatcher album that didn't have Leez as one of it's producers. The Dynamic Duo of Leez and Ollounder had been Dreamcatcher's producers since their very first track so it was quite a shock when Leez decided to part ways with Dreamcatcher and Ateez to pursue producing on his own. This caused a huge delay in between Vision and BONVOYAGE. Because Leez and Ollounder had been partners for so long, they even trained together, I can't help but read into alot of the lyrics on this album: The bitter sweetness of BONVOYAGE, having to say goodbye to your closest friend, being hurt by the loss, but wishing well for someone you love. DEMIAN might be Ollounder trying to see the situation from Leez point of view. Leez trying to come into his own and discover who he is when he's on his own even if it means disrupting everything and one around him. PROPOSE is Ollounder's anger and jealousy. He burns at being abandoned. To. You is the inevitable acceptance. Now, Ollounder has to figure out who HE is as a producer without Leez. There were probably many times through the process of making this album where he longed to just reach out to his friend and things could go right back as they were but, it can never be that way again. In the bridge part of To. You Ollounder hid the names of each member of Dreamcatcher throughout the lyrics. I think it was his way of reassuring them in such a time of change. 😢 Anywho, didn't mean for that to get so long. 😅 It's been so much fun following you on your journey! You both have been nothing less than delightful! ^_^ I hope you're able to see Dreamcatcher this November!

About Demian: The Korean in the beginning means "Stay forever my Demian". The book Demian by German author Hermann Hesse is about Emil Sinclair, who is a young boy raised in a middle class home, amidst what is described as a "Scheinwelt" (a play on words meaning "world of light" as well as "world of illusion"), so the entire existence can be summarized as a struggle between two worlds: the show world of illusion and the real world, the world of spiritual truth. Accompanied and prompted by his mysterious classmate and friend "Max Demian", he detaches from and revolts against the superficial ideals of the world of appearances and eventually awakens into a realization of self. It is about the duality of the world, and Dreamcatcher know quite a bit about duality. 😉 I believe that is also why they cover half of their face in the choreo. The choreo was done by SuA, and she did a brilliant job! Musically I really enjoy Demian, it has some elements of ProgRock in it, which is one of my beloved genres of music.

You're right! She spoke about creating the choreo and then realizing it was too hard and they might pass out, so she toned it down until they could do it and sing at the same time. It's still one of their most difficult choreos, though!

Demian! This is easily one of my top Dreamcatcher songs. It’s like a really good rollercoaster that completely takes the wind out of you but makes me go, “OMG. Let’s do it again!” It’s emotionally exhausting in the best way LOL
I love this album sooooo much! Bon Voyage is my favourite title track and the b-sides are excellent songs. I've always found it interesting that most of the love songs by Deukae are about the toxicity of it, like Propose, BEcause and the self-explanatory Poison Love. The "positive" love songs are mostly about their bond with InSomnias or among the members

Propose is the song where Handong surprised me and showed how far she's come since Chase Me. Handong doesn't belt. She belted. You need to see the performance to get the full effect. Also, Gahyun's soft girlish voice coming in on 'what can I do without you' showed everything I love about her voice. She still sounds like she's 15 and singing before an audience for the first time.

Been waiting for this album's reaction because of the Demian special clip, though, Abcatcher straight-up MURDERED us that day. SuA read up on the story of Demian to incorporate its themes into the choreography as well, something I really appreciate as a booklover.

Diff language so the tracks hit differently. 2. Both MVs were shot and cut differently. BETTER THAN THE OG TRACKS' MVs imho. In fact lol it kinda pissed me off over the years as a Somnia as to why the MV director/production decided that way but I figured that Jp demands were specific. 3. Diif fits, styles and even makeup per member. More "centers"/lines' screen times. And a more balanced group choreo shots. Demian was choreographed by SuA. It’s a rly hard one so she toned it down a bit(that’s what I know, correct me with I’m wrong)

Thank you for all the dreamcatcher reactions. I've quite enjoyed them. May I now suggest that you look into another group known as KARD? They are a 4 member co-ed group, 2 males, and 2 females. They just released an album about a month ago called, "Where to now?" (Part 1: Yellow Light). The comeback track is called, "Tell My Momma."
The album they are currently most known for right now though is, "Icky" they have a very latin influence k-pop sound and apparently have a huge following in the Hispanic market.

Even though Shatter and Rising exist, I think if I had to choose this would have to be my favourite EP because the first three songs all deserve top spots in Dreamcatcher's discographies and I don't even skip the ballad, which is rare for me.

Why?
1. Well it's their past Jp rels. Diff language so the tracks hit differently.
2. Both MVs were shot and cut differently. BETTER THAN THE OG TRACKS' MVs imho. In fact lol it kinda pissed me off over the years as a Somnia as to why the MV director/production decided that way but I figured that Jp demands were specific.
3. Diif fits, styles and even makeup per member. More "centers"/lines' screen times. And a more balanced group choreo shots.
You'll DEFINITELY see the very significant diffs because you've already reacted to the 2 og ones.

Wasn’t there an outro on this album or am I tripping? I highly recommend listening to the outro for this album, and I personally really liked how it sounded and found myself traversing through a dense jungle surrounded by nature
there is no outro for this album, i believe you're thinking about the Apocalypse: Follow Us album (the one with Vision as the title track) which has Outro: Mother Nature on it and perfectly describes what you said in your comment!
