I think REITA FARIA already proved that a dark-skinned Indian woman can win a grand slam international beauty pageant when she was crowned Miss World 1966. DIANA HAYDEN (MW 1997) and SUSHMITA SEN (MU 1994) were also much darker than Priyanka.
2000 is the luckiest year for Indian Contestants at International beauty pageants. May be India is the first country who donate Miss universe, world and international in same year. All the three possess stunning personality. Lara and Diya makes amazing performance. Eventhough priyanka did little mistake while answering judge question, she also posses an amazing performance. Hope India will get in the coming years.

And parvathi Omanakuttan was the first runner up in 2008. Sushmita Sen was Miss Universe in 1994 and in 2000 had a hat trick miss world (Priynaka), miss universe(lara datta) and miss Asia Pacific(diya mirza). Guess we have a lot of beautiful indian women out there!!!!

Priyanka Chopra never had a surgery on nose where as she got operation for the nose bone increment because she was suffering from snowfilia it is like when someone has nosal problem & they catch cold easily & because of too sneezing their nose bone grow more in which doctors advice to cut the increased bone through surgery but which doesn't mean that she has done surgery to make it look sharp where her father mother brother everyone of them are sharp featured punjabi's.
Beauty has nothing to do with your skin colour. Being an Indian, I really wish that beautiful african girls also make it. Indian girls are beautiful, educated and intelligent who come to this contest.
