I underclocked from 53 to 50... and after 7 consecutive freezes at launch just prior to doing what your video said... the game launched. And I am 30 minutes in... If this sticks... I am your new best friend and will be recommending this video to everyone and anyone who mentions it. Already shared your video with my computer geek friends so they have the resource. Thank you, brother! I am a streamer and this was jacking up my flow. Appreciate you... and absolutely cannot believe the devs cannot and have not put out a fix for this for people with newer machines and beefy rigs. Thank you again!
Follow up to this post... IF you have any sort of watchdog software on a newer model rig... and do NOT manually change the core setting back to the original setting before gaming, the setting will revert automatically if you play COD again. It happened to me... and reverted back to 53 (see above). I set it back to 50 and re-launched the game... it started right up. All good.

DOING THIS AND TURNING OFF CORE ISOLATION THROUGH WINDOWS SETTINGS MADE IT WORK PERFECTLY!! Just make sure to to run core isolation back on if you download anything or searching anything on the web to protect yourself.

Please fix the issues and then retry setup. For more information see the loo file. If tou receive "Access is Denied" error please riaht-click the installer and run as administrator 0x80070643 - error fatal during installation

You just made it work after numerous troubleshooting. LIKED+SUBBED. That was making me so mad and questioning my setup.

I have an i5-10400F and once I open the Extreme Tuning Utility program, it looks a bit different. It does not have the same options on the left side as the one you are using. any help????
Unfortunately this is no solution for me either as my problem is the game not recognising windows 10 and saying that I have windows 8 which I have my windows 10 all up to date and drivers. Also it says MW2!? cannot launch because of my windows 8???!!! and when I verify files I have 35 files missing in steam what a mess. MW3 is a rushed mess! Never had this problem with previous CODs.
@themotorcycleguy5980 fellow biker 👌🏼 I don't know if this helps but I started from scratch with it being a new build but started with Windows 10, it worked flawlessly so I then upgraded to 11 using the same install I used originally. It has been perfect since. One of those oddities.
I have the same error however It is for AMD cpu and I sit at about 3.8- 4.15 clock speed and havent been able to play for a while since the halloween event started the splash screen shows up and a quarter way into it, it shows the error.

The fix that worked for me was to drop the core by 1. In the bios. The P core for me was working at 60 and 57, I dropped them by 1 and it fixed

Try going to the main game .exe file and going to compatibility and turning the run this game in compatibility check box off

It's worth a shot using something like Ryzen Master (I think it is) to change the clocks live
no way ur fix is to downclock peoples cpus by 600mhz lmao. they might as weel be using a 12700k stock instead of 13900k
