It took an inhibitor chip to stop Bly, to make him fumble Secura. This is why they needed the inhibitor chips, to make sure Bly took Secura out.

Comedy aside, this is actually kind of sad when you realize that Bly *did* actually struggle to kill Aayla. She saved Bly and his men on multiple occasions, and he grew to deeply trust her. Her particularly violent death wasn't out of hatred, it was to make sure that she was definitely dead. Bly considered it an act of mercy, he didn't want Aayla to suffer.

We honestly needed more of Bly and Aayla in TCW they were PERFECT in Star Wars Republic and I WISH they were portrayed like that in canon, I thought of a potential five episode series called: Star Wars Outer rim sieges were we see the most important sieges including Felucia were we get to see more of Bly and Aayla and ending in a very sad scene and the series finale would be operation knightfal and would lead to a new Series called Dark Times where we follow the imperial 501st specifically commander Vill in the 1st season and later commander Appo and Vader in the following ones and would be a tie in with the Bad Batch and telling some stuff from the Vader comics

Indeed, it would be very cool to see what happens during and after the Battles of Mygeeto and Felucia. The Dark Times era is also the period of Star Wars that most intrigues me and it will be very cool to see what happens to Commander Bly and 327th Star Corps.
