- It's possible to get the Legend of the East outfit in Chapter 2. In this video we'll take a look at how this can be achieved by completing Gambler 10 while replaying the early game mission: Who Is Not Without Sin.

Been watching lots of glitch vids and the Idea of Arthur Having the fox trotter, rolling block, LOTE outfit, all challenges but bandit completed, and micah remaining in jail all in ch. 2 is awesome to me. Gonna have to do a fresh playthrough. Getting the horse first. Gotta be with me from the beginning.
I just got it today (June 1, 2024). Dont bother trying to win two hands in a row before replaying the mission. Once you leave the table after winning two in a row, the game resets the number of wins to zero just like OP. Do what OP did and replay the mission and try to win three in a row. If the game makes you leave the table before you get three wins in a row then load your last save game and try again.
If you already have done all the challenge except Bandit and Survivalist * there's a way to get the Legend of the east outfit.
At survivalist 10 catch all the fish except your last fish : the "Steelhead trout". Then later in game at the beginning of chapter 3 . Save game Before you start the mission "The New South". when your fishing with Dutch. Don't catch the Steelhead trout yet when the mission done go to replay mode and restart the mission "The New South" now try to catch the steelhead trout.
When the mission done you will receive the Legend of the east outfit.

It doesn’t have to specifically be the Bandit challenges that are skipped. I’ve done it skipping the Herbalist challenge. It’s likely that as long as you have any 7 of the 9 challenges finished then getting 3 wins while replaying “Who is Not without Sin” for Gambler 10 will get the LOTE outfit.
That's good information, thanks! Well, you can't finish the Bandit ones anyway, you're going to skip them because you don't really have a choice in Chapter 2. But I want to do a replay of Chapter 2 specifically devoted to this, because I found out really late in Chapter 2, and had already completed many of the challenges and only have a few left Herbalist 9 and 10 for example.
But when I do it again, will do it systematically to find out what triggers this and what not. The guy I mention in the video got it completing Horseman 10 inside the replay of Who is Not Without Sin... and that just seemed like a lot of trouble to go when you could leave it for Herbalist 10 instead. You have cook and eat those meats. So, you just cook the last one but don't eat it, then eat it when you run after Rev Swanson, and I think you'd only need 2 poker wins that way.
At any rate, it's something to play with in the future.
@@brindlebucker4741 I haven’t gotten the hang of using a buggy to get the New Austin herbs, hence skipping the Herbalist challenge. 😝
@@SimonQJester I use the Appleseed wagon for the herbs. I find it much easier. But for hunting over there (armadlillos, gila monster etc) I use the buggy. If you try to shoot your rifle on the wagon you get shot instead ;-) I got footage of using the wagon just a few days ago. I'm planning on making a video with it.
I tried doing this in relatively early in Chapter 2. I have 10/10 in everything except Bandit and Survivalist, which I have not yet unlocked (and obviously 9/10 in Gambler). It doesn't work. It seems you need Survivalist too.

Think I spent like 3-5 days on it. Honestly it just takes patience and time although I hate the fact it doesn't take skill and is just completely RNG
got mine in 2 days real time. took a lot of sitting there on my phone doing other things and pressing buttons
I did this a few years back it was the most difficult thing I've done in a long time I still rember trying to get a 3 star armadillo out side the map it took foreveerrr..and also picking up a lengadry carcase or pelt or drawing a Dino bone and trying to hide your body from the invisible sniper was super fkd especially one shot your dead then you've gotta start all over steal a cart go through the whole trip to New Austin again
I’m curious if you can pull this off only doing the first five bandit challenges and none of the herbalist ones or maybe just the first five. I definitely got the outfit in chapter 3 having done all of the bandit ones and none of the herbalist ones so I guess my hypothesis would be that doing half of the herbalist and half of the bandit ones would be “the same number of completed challenges” as doing all the bandit and none of the herbalist ones 🤔
You have to have 9/10 challenges completed for it to work, having a partial number of challenges from 2 different incomplete challenges won't add up to 9/10.
Just got this after days of trying (Oct 2024). For those struggling, have all Challenges done to Lv 10 (apart from Bandit) and be on Lv 9 Gambler….. Don’t bother with winning two games first, you just have to win 3 in a row WHILE replaying the mission. Don’t go all in and otherwise it’ll kick you out after 2 wins. You need to keep both players in the game.
For me: I have all the challenges done except Gambler 10 and Herbalist 9 and 10 (so obviously not Ch 2). I first win the 2 hands from the riverboat gambling challenge (so we're in Ch 4), and then replay the Reverend mission. After the first guaranteed win I get Gambler 10, and after the mission is done I get the LOTE. I can't recall if ever tried to win the first two hands sooner, so you don't have to wait for Ch 4, but I have done it a few times this way and it's worked. Again, I didn't have to finish Herbalist 9 or win more than one hand for the Rev mission.
BTW, you can keep plating poker indefinitely during the Rev mission as long as you don't bust and both of your opponents are still in (ie neither of them busts).
Great Video, But can I get the Legend of the East outfit in Chapter 2 if I have completed all the Challenges including all the Gambler Challenges, except for the Bandit Challenges from challenge 5 onwards,
Not sure, but in those circumstances, I don't think so.

I just got the LOE outfit by completing EVERY CHALLENGE EXCEPT GAMBLER 10 and I was on Herbalist 6. I replayed the “Without Sins” and won 3 hands in a row. For the 2nd and 3 rd hands I just played Poker like I normally would. Checked and raised, went all in before the river. After winning the 3 rd hand it automatically kicked me to a cut scene b/c nobody else had anymore money. This does work! THANK YOU 6/28/24
It did not work for me. I finished the gambler 10 on st Denis and saved the file right next... Sad

How did you sell horses to the fence? That is only available in chapter 3
You don't have to sell the horses just complete 5/10 Bandit Challenges then 10/10 the others but save Gambler 10 or Horseman 10 for last if you're planning on getting it in Chapter 2 so you can do the mission replay method

@@JoelAybar get a buggy from saint denis and watch a video on how to maneuver the camera so you don't get hit by the invisible sniper

It still works 06/2024.
I got 2win at Flatneck Station and 2win in the replay mission.
You must play until a message tells you ''You completed the Gambler10"
And sometimes it will appear while you are sitting. Or sometimes it happens when you get up from the poker table.
If the message doesn't happen, you still haven't received it. must try again.
And of course, Micah is still in jail. ;D ;D
note :
I finished all missions except Bandit.
I tried with Horseman10 didn't work.
I tried with Sharpshooter10 didn't work.
I got two wins at Flatneck Station however when i leave the game, to replay mission, it resets the wins. Dont know how you managed to keep your two wins. Cant replay mission while still sitting playing poker. I left table and checked gambler 10 progress and it said 0of3 just like OP even though i won two in a row.

How did you start the survivalist challenge in chapter 2? I'm trying to complete all the challenges so I can use this glitch that you're talking about. I catch bluegills but it won't start the survivalist challenge for me
@imru3533 First, you'll have to complete "a fisher of men" mission (take Jack fishing). Then go fishing for bluegill. The first bluegill you catch will unlock the survivalist challenge.

don't know if anybody postet it, but you can't bust anyone out on the third round. If you get the animation in wich Arthur wins and leaves the table, that dosn't count as a won hand. so basically if your opponent goes all in and loses before you got your third win, the match is over and you won't achieve it. Hope this helps some one. :)
делаю так. травник 8 и дальше не трогаю. снайпер 10 оставляю напоследок. всё остальное выполняю. затем перепрохожу любой квест где возможно стрелять 3 птички из снайперки и костюм легенда достаётся.

Buggy method
You can still get the outfit in the replay even if you lose a round or two of poker. I won the first round but lost the second and third one, and was still able to get the outfit by winning the next 3 rounds in a row. Contrary to popular belief, the game doesn't kick you out if you win the second time. You can play continuously past the 2nd round..
I have a question if you can please answer, so I just need to complete gambler 10 to get LOTE but I noticed when I replay the mission I lose all my items and outfits and satchels.. so now I’m scared to complete it, will my stuff be returned when the mission is over?

Could you have done this any earlier in chapter 2 or do you need to have completed the mission with John to get the rolling block rifle at the earliest?
No! You can get it early with hosea Glitch.

@@JoelAybar search for "get rolling block rifle early". At first I thought it's gonna be hard but it 's not. I get the gun at first try. Just need Hosea's horse to walk in a correct path and time your jump at the right moment.

If you bust out any player it ends the game. As long as both the opponents have funds to play the game will continue
There is a problem. Ain't no way to do sharpshooter 9, in chapter 2. You can't shoot 3hat in same deadeye.

Of course you can. Stand way back and use shells in the shotgun. Aim at heads. Uf you're far enough back it won't kill them. I thought this was well known?
Across the Train station/big saloon in Valentine is a good spot. Use the semi auto shotgun, make sure you go to the gunsmith and de-equip everything to make it stock. Use normal shells and not slugs. Stand as far as possible and aim for top of the head

How did you complete the survivalist challenge in chapter 2? I can't even get it started even after catching several bluegill fish. I have all the challenges completed except for the Bandit, gambler add survivalist. I can't find any help on RUclips or the internet to help me get the survivalist challenge started in chapter 2
You don’t have to complete the Herbalist to get LOE outfit. He must have used the same wagon glitch to go to N.A. which is a pain
Got it August, 2024. Replayed the mission and got 3 in a row, my dumbass then realized I only had about 75/90 challenges done and had completed 5 of the bandit ones. So be sure that before u do this that u have at least 80 of the 90 challenges done otherwise it won’t work. I got the lote later in chapter 3 after I completed all bandit challenges, I then had 80/90 done. Be sure to have 80 done. Hope this helps someone🙏🙏

To be honest, I'm not even sure the outfit is worth the bother. I do like the vest on its own, and the weapon equipment is pretty cool. But overall, I don't actually like the way the suit looks.
@@brindlebucker4741 i agree but in rdr1 i unlocked the legend of the west outfit for john. so it only felt right to get arthur in the legend of the east outfit before it was too late 😭

I’m so tired of putting in 98% of work with these glitches that “work” and then I do the last 2% and they ALWAYS fail for me. So frustrating.
You don’t have to do it in the gambler 10 challenge you can also do it in the horseman 10 challenge. It still works as of today 6/29/2024.

@@corvenalemna8631 No you do not have to finish Herbalist. I have gotten it 3 separate time without doing Herbalist. If you do ALL challenges, including Bandit, and finish Gambler 10 using the Reverend Mission, you will get LOE outfit.

Survivalist challenge is unlocked after you finish the mission - A fisher of man.
How did you do Herbalist 9
Used the wagon trick to go to New Austin and pick the 4 missing herbs. Search either my channel or RUclips for "New Austin herbs wagon trick" and you'll find some how-to's. It's sort of a pain in the ass, and you need patience, but it does work.
Yeah he's right he used the wagon trick but you know you have to use a buggy from St denis because it's much easier

You have to use either the "wagon trick" or the "buggy trick". They are slightly different from each other. Just search for either of those two. I have a couple video on it as well.

Edit: It works, 9/10 challanges completed, do gambler 10 last, skipped bandit challange.
I start and delete quite often just to try stuff out. That's what having the 15 save slots is for. Just make a new save, if it works, good. If not, just go back to the old save. I do this all the time

Everyone keeps saying it is hell and it took them months but I always complete it within 3 hours

Go to van horn, sit far right, quit it you have high numbers. Rinse, wash, repeat
