Thanks for the vid, subscribed ! Question for you though.. On the re-sizing / auto-reframe option... How do we STOP it from "auto-tracking" the footage ?! I do not want Capcut to track what I shot.. Is there a way to turn that off ?!
The secret is Compound Clips. Compound clips allow you to move from timeline to timeline losslessly. I didn't figure this out. I will try to remember the channel and give credit but here it is: Select a compound clip, right click and select "Save Preset" (about mid-way down the menu.) In a new project, in the materials panel (top left), on the "Import" tab, the 3rd item down is "Your Presets." Click that and your compound clips saved as presets are there. That's what I'm seeing in the desktop app on PC, v4.3.0. In the desktop app on PC, v4.6.0 beta 1, "Your presets" is the 4th item down, and it's at the same level as "Device", not under it. However, there's a new menu item "Subprojects" which is under "Device" in the spot where "Your presets" was. If you click "Subprojects" you'll need to click the little + button next to import on the screen to the right of the menu. Then you'll see many of your compound clips, not just ones saved as presets. Assuming they keep this functionality, it appears "compound clips" will be referred to as "subprojects", based on what I'm seeing in the menus in this 4.6.0-b-1 version.
The pack is very good very well priced for the content provided although I got it using the promo code for absolutely free 😂 Matt you should do these kind of giveaways more

Great video and information. Concise, clear, informative and enjoyable to listen to and watch. Thank you
Thank you Matt for such a lot of excellent information beautifully and clearly presented. And the Promo!
Am I missing something? A number of effects shown are labelled “Pro” beside them and these are not free to use
You can just full screen the video and screen record it to get the features for “free”
That 10th feature is insane!! 🤯 thank you for sharing! 🙌
But one key feature is still missing. The ability to copy from one timeline to another? When will Capcut go pro?
Yes! Im waiting for that too and would be a huge timesaver.
@@shn2521 There's a way. It took me weeks to find out. But there is a way!!
@@Hypnotist1 oh ya? How? Perhaps Matt can share as well?

Hello Matt, thanks a lot for this useful fast forward tutorial and your promo code.
Relight, Reframe & Vocal isolation are all pro features.
You can use them you just can’t export with them, so just full screen it and then screen record to use the effects for “free”

The word "Pro" is clearly visible next to some of the features you showed. And yet you say they are free. What gives?
Monthly Subscription...forget it.
A lot of these are paid, not free.
