I have Maschine+ because I wanted for years that Native Instrument had a large stand-alone sampler version with all the functions of the controller. The pads are the best on the market, large in size and precise in the sensitivity and touch of the fingers, much superior to an MPC. It is a dream come true, I have Akai MPC-X of 4 GB, it is a great machine with many controls inherited from Akai MPC reanissance, a good machine that I like a lot, but at the instrument level it is very limited, the plugins are very few compared with which you can manage with Maschine+. And here I am going to present my most compelling reason for having a Maschine+, the reason is called Reaktor 6, yes, Reaktor has been around for more than 20 years, thousands of free instruments available that can be handled with Maschine+, many FX processors for audio. NO ONE ON THE MARKET HAS THAT EXTRA! This machine is great for using a track with Reaktor and autosampling internally and then composing new things with the machine's pads and chromatic scale modes. It is a very superior machine in many ways, thanks to the Native Instruments Software and it is also a good controller for Tracktor, you can play music with Maschine+ using your Laptop, in the old versions it was possible for more than 10 years and now too. My MPC-X doesn't have those things, it's just an Akai workstation and that's it. Maschine+ is a combo with an MPC-type sampler, midi controller, audio interface, 24-bit sampler and is undoubtedly much more extensive in its software. Thanx for the video.
I've had mine for 2.5 years now and still love it, i barely use it in controller mode though. I tend to only put it in controller mode when im autosampling something from a vst. Otherwise 100% standalone.
'Bro Drama, have you try update the system update in Machine Plus? The old system is when you turn the power button on, the Plus logo is red and the font is same like box. While for the new update, the font and plus logo is change to the cool one (MACHINE '+' N). I have a hard time because it takes many time to restart the system.
@@solololobro2167 yes I'm on the new one I don't have that problem. Around the time I updated I ran into an issue where the sd card wasn't working properly so I factory reset the whole m+ had to redownload all my expansions and stuff. One thing you definitely need to check first is if your firmware needs to be updated. That can only be done through the computer with the firmware update application.
I love finger drumming! And the maschine pads are the best, I try the mpc pads and there are nice if you have luck to get a good unit, a lot of double triggers, you have to buy new pads and fix it by your own, a lot of troubles.
Push 3 won’t do what you think. It’s not ready yet. Trust me. I own 1. You can’t go all the way thru like you can on maschine plus. There’s no song mode and export on push 3
Been making music on pc over 20 years its not painful . My opinion computer is way more powerful. But mpc in controller mode is everything you could dream of.
Just sold mine for a Push 3. Didn't fit in the workflow no more especially since I got a Komplete Kontrol MK3. Long time Maschine user so I'll get another one when the MK4 drops or if they do an update.
I feel the same way I was torn for a minute because Akai had been dropping a lot of stuff but I’ve been using maschine for almost 10 years this is why I don’t like to look at people reviews of maschine who haven’t been using maschine for a long time because it takes a minute to rlly learn maschine imo..
Give us an update is the Maschine Plus good to go in 2024 I’m interested in getting one just too try some different I got a MPC live and FL studio just looking try something different but I see a lot of videos about it crashing or glitching and not working good in standalone what mostly I’ll be using it in
mine hasn't crashed once and ive had it a month now. I dont make extensive beats or extensive music that requires 50 tracks, with any computer or device when you push the cpu there are going to be problems, I tend to get to max 60% cpu but I use the auto sampler a lot!!! so I really got it to get away from the computer and do content so id say try it to see if you like it.

It’s a better built MK3. I owned the Mk3 and now have the Maschine Plus. You’ll find in the grand scheme of things, the Standalone mode is practically useless though.
I find using Maschine away from the computer much more rewarding. I find myself focusing better now that I don't have to use my computer screen as a crutch.
Bruh, don't throw away the box. You can still take it back. The software is ass. Piano roll is just for visual and does nothing. Audio editing and sampling and slicing are all different functions and what you do to a sample in one is erased when you go to another functions. This shit is a pure rip off. I'm surprised this is still on the market.

The Plus is an amazing groovebox . It's different than a MK3 but taken as what it actually is , it's an amazing piece of equipment.

HI! Sorry to bother you, but how do I make a sound stop playing when I press another pad to prevent the sounds from overlapping?
Search "maschine choke groups". You might also want to set polyphony to 1.
mute choke, or choke groups, make the sound voices into 1 instead of 8

I would've sold mine for 750. I dislike the Plus
I keep going back and forth with mine. 2 wks on 6 wks off. But I can’t just completely leave it alone because I want to like it. Losing battle though.
It’s another mk3 with standalone added so I mainly use it in computer mode with the occasional standalone

MPC are worthless also cant even sell back to guitar center and sound is not that good when it comes to drums they are weak.
