Good old Times When i played this
Funny part is the map is literally me 05 like it's the exact same except like flipped and some highways were put in weird spots like the hospital in 05 is gone and replaced with the high way instead the stadium in rosewood is gone and after that you get this weird track I guess? And the stadium in Rockport is now like a mall? The safe house isn't the safehouse of the beginning of the game. Basically it's a copy and paste so they use less resources. If you put MW 05 music in this game it's literally just mw. The only thing is like when your bmw runs outta oil and the engine blowed. The rail road is gone along with the highway to get to the port near Rockport. It's halarious.
In a nutshell: "This is a E10 rated nfs game about street racing where you unironically play as a MURDERER! And the game concludes with you hugging Saria against the sunset with triumphant music...WHAT THE FU-"
Basically "you killed your brother you hate it because being an asshole and lost your memory in the way"

This game had a great "dark" story for a PSP NFS title and one of the best that came out for the system. Beated this game countless times as a teenager and never got tired of it.

this game s story is most dark story in entire franchise , and i personaly wanna see that type of story in the future games , but sadly we never gonna see that type of story because too brutal , this is why i love nfsc otc
2:33 Man that console, it was developed in Brazil and launched in LATAM, I remember in my country, Mexico, was annouced as "better than Xbox and Playstation" bullshit, trying to "compete" against Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii in their time and I remember that piece of Prius, it was kind of console but help a student in the studies? And help in homeworks as an assistant? Its a console, just designed to play with it, and it doesn't need compete against PC in graphics because it that the motive, just designed to play, but that "Zeebo" was awfully and just thousands was developed.
Kind of imitation of the Wii, control really unconfortable(just a big "m" or a brick), games even can play in mobile, their port of Resident Evil 4 was even harder than the original PS2 but awful graphics, Carbon version was even awfully(and was better playing it in the main PSP), and the "assistant" was just a notes app and calculator app.
In resume of that, is a piece of crap could sold as a pirate console as Mitzui playing PS1 games
Interesting... I remember playing one in exhibition at a store with Crash Nitro Kart 3D, I always assumed the game being badly designed as my driving skills lacking because I was young at the time, until much later I found out that it was much worse than what I remember.
Note: RE4 first came out on the Gamecube in 2005 with the PS2 getting it the next year

The camera motion looks to give you feeling of driving a hunkered down race cars on indian roads
Own The City repeats the SAME darn mistake as the original game by forcing you to complete races against fully tuned sport cars once you reach the Crimsons, while you're stuck with a Mazda or Impreza.
Own The City is underrated

The Plot Twist in the End was not that necessary, but game overall, besides that Carbon Own The City is the only PSP NFS that has Free Roam, and the races Feel realy good Just like the original

@@cozm3433 DS version doesn't have an open world, the graphics are worse (but you can play at 60fps), takes full advantage of dual screen of the DS, has comic book style cutscenes with no voice (uses text instead).
PSP version has open world (mirrored version of Rockport), runs at 30fps and has better graphics than DS version, has voice acted cutscenes.

God it's my first PSP game and mine was Japanese dubbed so this is actually the first time I got the story.
They never reveal who won that "tragic" race did they, nick died and the player crashed, but it looked like the race went on
Why is this game's story seem better than Need For Speed Heat's story

I dont know if it happened with other people but while playing it on my psp after defeating like the the third crew boss or so my roads started to glitch out. They would just disappear and even if i won that race my loading screen would get stuck and I had to restart the game,and I didn't have a memory stick that time so I never got past Poorboy to finish the game. So I an here to watch this. Now i have a memory stick and will try to complete it. Best game man.
probably your game copy is broken, mostly on cso. I also experienced the same issue too a very long ago

I was shocked when i discovered the plot twist, i mean... it's only a few games that we actually play as the bad guy, and specially for a racing game to have this kind of stuff, it's very rare.
Also, i would add another sin for the gameplay. the EVO IX for example, is one of the worst cars in the game, being slower than cars like Chevy Cobalt, 300C, '78 firebird etc. Which doesn't make any sense. At the same time the Impreza has 3× the stats of the EVO

This game is still quite good game though, I remember I beated it once, and, if I remember again there is a Mercedes-Benz Idk which one it is which basically so fricking fast in opponents hand, I got hard moment in there, but bad for me. For gameplay, almost all PSP NFS are same for me, just different names and other things. Also add 1+ sin for cops in free roam, because all the events eventually just already evading you from the cops (didn't we can even have a cops in the event?)
This game is my favorite game for psp

for me after playing all three versions of NFS Carbon: Own the City, i can safely say i can HIGHLY recommend the PSP version obviously it's the best version of the three, has free roam which fun fact it's actually Most Wanted 2005's map and has the better cutscenes of the three. I can also very much recommend the DS version of the game, it's a very good version of the game and it also has a exclusive race type called hunter where you race around the track and the person that has the most points at the end wins. the GBA version is ok for a GBA game but that version of the game is so short you can beat it in 4 hours if you know what you're doing
