      Lower is better but should not be negative.

    • @mohitgolechha795
      @mohitgolechha795 Год назад

      that isn't always the case. It can also mean that the stock is undervalued. You shoudl see the P/E along with PEG which is derived from it. You should always check out other ratios like P/B, debt-to-equity ratio, free cash flow etc.

    • @debiameena
      @debiameena Год назад

      Pe ratio does not work I have experience it only peg ratio work because peg ratio tell that company cagr growth will be higher if peg ratio of a company if it's lower than its compatitor than that this company have higher growth in earning in compare to its compatitor plus seles growth and profit both should be higher than its compatitor,

    • @mohitgolechha795
      @mohitgolechha795 Год назад

      @@debiameena that may be true but the peg ratio is very difficult to estimate. There are many assumptions that need to be made to calculate the future growth rate of a company which may not work as the market is uncertain. If the pe ratio is looked upon along with other ratios like price to book, debt to equity, free cash flow etc, it can be a valuable indicator of financial performance.

    Guys the easiest way to see that a comnay is under valued or not is that 1 see the stocks 3 and 5 years median pe ratio and take the lower median pe which is low weither it is 5 years median pe or 3 yeaes than compare it with current pe if is low than company is undervalued.
    2 see the Peg ratio of company if it's less than 1than also comnay is undervalued.
    3 if both points 1 and 2 are as i told than company is definitely under valued and u can also see the industry median pe .

    Hello brother, in most cases many fundamentally good stocks are trading above their intrinsic value everyday. And their prices are gradually going up. So how should I buy those stocks as it seems that they won't reach their intrinsic value anytime soon?
    Thankyou for all the videos you share, this is just one question I hope you will answer. Cheers.

    Hello Sir, One query on intrinsic value of Reliance you shared in your video. Is it fair to get intrinsic value only on the basis of historical price moments? what is your opinion on Relaince becoming debt free and expanded its business in Telecom, Retails ,etc (still expanding and moving away from core petroleum business). Is if justified to get the intrinsic on historical price ?

    But low PE doesn't always mean good business as have seen in many decades sometimes low PE businesses are stuck at their low PE for many decades because of multiple factors such as zero or negative growth, market perception about that business, high CAPEX businesses. So checking PE in isolation is not a good idea.
