Koreans traditionary sleep with heated floor, and all electric blanket made in Korea are made to sleep on. As far as I remember when I was growing up in Korea, all the electric blanket in Korea were made to sleep on. You can buy sleep on electric blanket usually from any Korean grocery stores because Korea companies usually don't advertise or sell on Amazon etc. They usually consumes about one light bulb energy. It is the most efficient way to use energy to sleep warm.
Here in the UK, we have two types of Electric Blanket a underblanket ( one you sleep on or under you) & a Electric Overblanket one you place over you like a quilt. It's a fire risk to sleep on a 0VER BLANKET
We live in Canada. We would never consider not having an electric blanket, an inverter, and a spare dedicated 12 volt deep cell battery in our car during the winter. I had spent an overnight in my car in a snowstorm once before.... just do it. \
i thinks its great brother as long as your consions about what your doing its great im about to buy one tomorrow becuase i live in new york and its getting cold as hell out lol
I'm sure that blanket was good for 2019 but for 2021 there are usb heated blankets at run on a battery pack test one of those because if I buy a yeti generator plus a electric blanket its glamping. The yeti cost almost $200 to $5000 let's be for real a diesel heater is cheaper even for 2019. And it runs for upto 12 hrs on a tank. It will also heat the whole tent
I bought a Sunbeam Heated blanket and when I plug it into my inverter is just blinking , I don't know why , how does it know that is NOT a house power outlet ?
I should have done this way earlier. I use it on top or below. A sheet around my bottom cushion. A top sheet, Indian blanket, heating blanket then a regular rectangle non down sleeping blanket 50 degrees rated. 45 degrees air temperatures I’m naked in between the sheets at lowest setting or with some clothes just on top with the sleeping bag over me. Depending upon how I feel. Too many clothes and you will wake up sweating and dehydrated. Be careful
I sleep in my house with an electric blanket under me. I agree it's the best way. Ultimately I need the heat at my feet and lower limbs the most bc I like cool air on my face. Do they make them in 12 volts?
Yes they do Bob Wells at cheap RV living did a review of three 12 volt electric blankets. The one he liked the best was a RoadPro I believe available at truck stops
i looked at some heating blanket wattage. it was 50 watts. 4.5a w a cid light plug. that give u about 5-6 hours of use w a car battery not fully discharging
@@Lilman3000 my question: a fully charged stanley charger, how long on an electric blanket. Answers I've deduced: Lower wattage, less power used from charger. Higher wattage? Shorter use. Lastly? Can't use a car battery as a means to use an electric blanket for sleep unless plan is to jump start car in a.m. ? Yes? Especially with no voltage meter reader to know how much charge is in the battery in the first place or without knowing how much voltage the blanket draws based on it's wattage. Variables? Sure. But I'm asking for generalities about specifics. Thanks though. And "cid lighter"? Lol. Is that a new thing?

they cost very much? didn't know they had them..
They also make heated mattress pads so I don’t see getting a queens size and using it as a full wrap under and over.

I sleep with a CPAP machine. I’m gonna need so sort of power anyway. Sounds like a good fit to having an electric blanket.
a electric blanket on low only uses around 15 to 20 watts
Never used one before. I have had sleeping bags that held body heat in really well so didn't really need one.

The heated mattress pad is battery operated. Does have to draw down energy from the generator

I run my electric blanket with a Jackery 240.
Birgit Blees Glad you answered. It was all I wanted to know, and he didn't say. I have a Yeti 400 lithium so it will work. Thanks.
What kind of sleeping mat is that? It looks so thick. How comfy is it?
A 6” Matt is the adult depth.
12 volt heating blankets
And the make and model of the blanket?
I found a mattress pad that is heated.
Think I'd like to try this. Any problem since you posted the video?
I just bought a Stanley Power iT 1200A. Can I fully charge it and use it as my electric blanket power source?

I'm sorry but I had to stop watching after all the precautions. Just stay home in a bubble because you seem scared your own shadow may kill you.
