- Slim from the Grammy-winning group 112 stopped by to speak about his time with Bad Boy, including his friendship with Biggie and performing on stage with him the night before he was killed. Slim went on to speak about Biggie and 2Pac's friendship turning sour after Pac dropped "Hit 'Em Up," and he added that Biggie thought the parody on "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" was hilarious despite the beef. During the sit-down, Slim also spoke about the shooting involving Shyne, Diddy, and J.Lo happened when 112 was working on their third album, which was their last at Bad Boy. I got a tEar in my eye wow
Wow, I can’t imagine hearing him in person. Such a beautiful voice. You have my condolences
Wow
I love his voice. 112 is one of the best R&B groups.
So do I-his voice is very unique.
Same here 🤗
Slim has one of the best voices in rnb. It's lovely and smooth.
Slim, he's been one of the most honest person to be interviewed. He wasn't trying to be negative about anything. You can tell he's a mixture of nerd, Christian, and bad boy combination. Loved it! 112 is one of my favorite groups.
Yea my mother had a huge crush on him during the 90s
I don’t even see bad boy anywhere in him. That was just the label he signed too. Honestly just a great all around man
112 is definitely one of the most UNDERAPPRECiATED groups of all time... Watching this makes me realize that r&b is a dying product... We need those r&b groups back... We need that lovey dovey vibe to come back... I'm tired of phuckin to trap music... 😂😂😂😂
Saying their underrated is a insult when they did get the success they deserve
Facts!!! Niggas making babies to lil baby🤣🤣😭

I feel you bruh
Lmao...112 is nothing near UNDERRATED
He talks how he sings. I love it. Some people sound so different from singing to talking. His voice is like butter
Right he has a beautiful cadence to his voice
112 Deserve their Roses. They dont get enough credit
112 was garbage and dude sounded horrible. Just like the teacher said.
@@ChillydontCap Shut up asswipe you're just jealous and you were probably born in a garbage can.

Good Observation. 👁️👍🏾👌🏾👓

112 is a legendary r&b group and Vlad had more questions about pac & BIG than 112 smh.
Word....vlad get like a high school girl when he get info bout pac or big.
The interview is with 112 but it's straight up about bad boy records
112 was trash and they sounded like it

One of my favorite singers‼️‼️ I adore him, he seems so sweet and has a KILLER KILLER KILLER VOICE!! And he’s not fat, he’s a grown azz man now! We’re in our 40’s not teens anymore.
Appreciate Slims authenticity and giving us his experiences in the business in a heartfelt way.
I love Slim's singing voice very smooth, soft and clean. Big 112 fan.
Dope singing
Yup
I hated that sound
I. Loved. That. Sound
I agree 😁he always stood out to me cause of his unique voice. Even though the whole group did their thing together. God bless you.
112 is one of the all-time best R&B groups. Slim was good enough to go solo back in the days. Bad Boy was unstoppable at one point.
Dude truly is a amazing guy. Of course he’s talented, but he is definitely a nice, and humble guy.. Had the pleasure of meeting the group a couple of times.. Real genuine energy
I still bump 112's music as if they came out yesterday lol. I love me some 112.

That track is still slept on. One of my all time favorites...especially the context behind when biggie wrote it. He was sitting back maturely reflecting on his accomplishments.
He literally said his sister death was another story and yet the interviewer keeps talking about it smh
That’s Vladimir

Give him his flowers!!! That voice is incomparable. Not to take away from the other grouo members, but I wasn’t paying 112 any attn in the 90s. I have come to appreciate them now.
Did not realise they were so young back then. 16 years old ???
Yes and I was like 13 begging my moms to get me all their cds 💿 for Xmas 😎🤷♀️😩I feel old
We need that Ma$e interview Vlad
After listening to slim I got so much more respect for dude he is well grounded ....big respect to the brother
Slim was different he sounded like he was crying I love that pain in his voice
He has one of the best voices out there . I’m the 112 album , especially the first one, his voice stood out the most . That first album was 🔥. I still bump that album. I loved that Cd, even bright it twice because the first one cracked .😊
I bought that damn CD 3 times. Got stolen twice and then a 4th digitally because the 3rd CD was scratched up from too many plays.
I had the cassette back when they came out in 96 with the only you single got stolen etc. bought a cd 💿 that got stolen
I been a 112 fan from day one got every album and still sing every song word for word ❤ my Slim 😘
He said...
"Ima keep it 1000 man, We met 2pac... WITH BIGGIE!!., they were best friends!..."

I love Slim, he such a sweetie!
Great interview, Slim is well spoken he has a unique voice you won't find anywhere 112 is very talented this is real R&B Soul Music btw he still looks handsome what a great personality! RIP to his sister!
The Bady Boy "curse" might have not been for 112 what it was to other artists. They did pretty well but I heard they did not get compensated all of their money. I feel Slim was holding back on getting into details especially when it came to Puffy.
Had to stop during video to type this...FML...this is sooo good...so many memories growing up in Da Bronx, being a teen, watching and hearing all of this but not knowing the back stories, wanting to be a rapper on Bad Boy, this is so deep on so many levels
1. Lil sister committed suicide
2. He was only 13 years old
3. He was the one who found her
MY HEART BROKE INTO A MILLION PIECES RIGHT THERE!
I can still see the buried pain on his face
Then idiot Vlad asking him stupid ass questions about it that make no sense. Dude is either dumb af or has no self awareness. Someone needs to slap some sense into him.
Yes. How unfortunate.
The pain is still in his voice and in his eyes. I have made 2 attempts of suicide and I never thought about how it would affect my mother to find me like that. I just wanted the pain to go away.
@@rucianapollard4057 exactly, suicide is an extremely selfish act that causes a lifetime of hurt for the loved ones
Learning all that with a minute in the beginning of the interview. Oh man 😔
Slim was 100 percent transparent until Vlad asked about what happened with 112 😂 😆 😝

This is Vlad best interview...SLIM is the realest his energy is pure and uncut he is not acting for the camera.
what?
he was holding back and being politically correct when he was answering those provoking questions about pee diddy and shyne situation and the badboy curse lmaoo
that had to take some excellent acting to hold back like that
Sumgi agreed. His comment makes no sense
Slim kills it on Throw It All Away his rifts in that song are smooth as butter. Yeah his voice unique but his voice just flows over songs
Yessss he does!!! I luv tht song!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah that teacher was tripping becuz I’ve always been drawn to Slim’s voice, I love 112 as a whole, love them dearly 😍😍 but something about Slim’s voice captivated me 😍😍

Awesome interview...sorry to hear about his sister. Really appreciate his story about what his teacher said about his voice. It's ok to be unique. 😉
Not enough 112 question
Vlad..stop wedging Pac into these interviews.
It’s not a bad boy curse it’s puff being greedy. Every artist has their time and falls off. The money you make is crucial. Puff is worth 800 mil it’s not from Sean John. It’s from biggies publishing
Well its really from ciroc
He sold SEAN JOHN years ago to MACYS for $$$ and BIGGIE aint bringin in that much $$$ and he don’t own CIROC just got a lot of equity in it
Love this interview. Love Slim 💛

Can I touch you was my jam and ugh ahh remix was my jointttt.
3rd album was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview.💚
Slim is still fine as fuck😍😍😍😍
Its not that 112 is underrated. Unlike groups like Jodeci, Dru Hill, New Edition their individual members never stood out and showed their own personalities. They're music was hot but as a group the image of them was very bland. Even today outside of Slim I takes min to say who is who.
There’s always a main dude of the group tho, i always knew the difference between them and their voices but I’m a chick tho so it’s different for me lol I know what you mean tho, but I do feel like Dru Hill was kinda like that too. It was always about Sisqo and the others hid behind his voice and big personality.
@@Kbutterfly86 yes Dru may have been a bad example but I knew the members more than 112
PaLiMo 365 yea I feel you, maybe it’s because of preference. Although I’ve always loved Dru Hill as well. Both hella amazing!!
You're right. Slim was the voice of 112. The others could definitely sing, but Slim's voice is distinctive. I could always tell a 112 track because of him and only him.
“I was the main person that told puffy to let mase finish his verse” TK KIRKLAND 🤦🏾♂️🤣
So sorry to hear about his sister 😢🙏🏾🙏🏾
I’m. Sorry To. Hear. About. His Sister. Also. That’s. Sad.
Great interview
I'm a super huge 112 fan I have all of their CDs, I even got to meet them back in 2017 at an autograph signing. Anyways, this is how you do an interview I love how it's just one on one, no extra loud voices, the interviewer start out getting the background and doing his research. I wish he would have mentioned the underrated songs too like "come see me", "dance with me", "love you like I did", and etc. I appreciate Slim for being honest I'm from the south myself and I get it about staying in your lane with certain issues. I hope 112 get their flowers, actually I'm going to give them their flowers 💐.
Not many artists or groups had 3 straight classic albums, jodeci and boys II men. They're in the same air.
I like Slim and I loved 112. but that Bad Boy Curse is real as hell. I dont care what anybody say
