NATO wants to enter the conflict, but the ukrainians are just more than an match for the russians... :D portuguese at least fighted well... not with GREAT NUMBERS, that stalinistic method... doesn't work... ;) do putin will push the nuclear button... weird but some of us want him to do that ... :D obviously russia would be obliterad like europe. maybe the earth... how would you accept your's putin as the overlord of total destruction?
@@mahadfarah9031 I think the adal sultanate was fighting alongside darod Somalis mean while in southern Somalia the Hawiye had their own empire. The ajuran sultanate.

Adal was the tribal name of Afar but most people don't believe. Adal was the Islamic empire, so this empire was against the Christian empire, namely the Aksoum empire (Tigrena) until today there is the war between Afar and Tigrena. this story took place between Afar and Tigrena yet there was another empire called the ajuran empire (Somalia).
LOL very funny Afar is a irrelevant people and they didn't do anything. Walashma was an Arab Dynasty and the soldiers of Adal and Generals were Somali or Harla. Afars did close to nothing
There is a near contemporary account of part of this war written by a Somali scholar named Futuh al-Habasa. Sadly only the first volume has been found it is called The Conquest of Abyssinia and it covers the early period of victories of the Gran. It has been translated into English and is very interesting. It is assumed the second volume recorded the collapse of the conquest. Sadly Ethiopian accounts of the war tend to be chronicles that lack in detail and are brief. The Portuguese accounts while very important tend to strongly overplay the role and importance of the Portuguese role in the war. The Oromo, also called the Galla, are the most numerous ethnic group today in modern Ethiopia. They are about equally divided into Muslims and Christians.
At the time they were very few Oromo in Ethiopia. The Portuguese accounts are many , but the reality that the kingdom of Prester John was not what did they expect to be led to a rapid loss of interest in the region. Ironically, it was the Ethiopians who sent an embassy to Portugal to ask for help against the Somalis and Ottomans.
The nerve somali's got .. do you want to steal the name Adal too? Adal(Ad-Ali) is the name of one of the tribes of Afar which most Afar came from and respected and not associated with cajuuran or cawdal so called khalifates. let's be honest here and ask since when did the somali's had direct contact/confrontation with Aksoum? Never!!

The Somali Ajuran kingdom on the eastern coast pretty much destroyed and converted all the incoming oromo tribes to Islam.
