👨👩👧👦 Whos is Reens Rails? 👨👩👧👦
Hi, my name is René, aka. Reen. I am 35 years old and a father of two lovely kids. We are liliving in germany and love to go on rail adventures. I'm a passionate train fan. The journey is always more important to us than the destination.
So, couple of times a year i love to grab the kids and go on a round trip across europe. Sometimes the misses and our dogs come along too.

Grazie! Literally every airport in Europe should have on its website a video like this.
Thanks for adding the captions. Most of the "how to" videos on navigating through Germany by train do not include this. I find them to be useless.
Thank you very much 😎👍😁
Very useful, will be traveling next week, will let you know if I make it :D or if tis mexicana failed and arriver who knows where HEHE
Thank you for this! I’ll be in Frankfurt in less than 3.5 weeks . Excited, and yet, a little nervous navigating all the train stations 😆 I heard horror stories about taking the wrong train on the right platforms
No worries
Everything will be fine
There are signs everywhere and announcements in English even on smaller railway stations
It happened to me Yesterday :)
@@doroteocincisbiasci3068 😅 what happened ? How did it go ?
Hello. At 2:35 you show the "Frankfurt Niederrad" station. Do we need to change trains at that station? Or does the S9 train go directly from the airport to the train station? Thanks in advance.
Thank you for your good efforts. But how to buy a ticket from the machine?
You want to travel on ICE trains from FRA? Check out my latest video on how to geat a cheap fair across the whole country ruclips.net/video/vUDtPt2T_ws/видео.html

Hi thank you for the video, how much time needed from landing, collect luggage, imigration to the Frankfurt Hbf.
I will buy the ICE from frankfurt Hbf but i need to know how much time i need to spare in between my arrival at FRA and departure at Frankfurt main Hbf. Great thanks
Hi, hard to say. I don't know how the situation with the federal police is in terms of immigration is at the moment. I can't say how long immigration will take because i only have experience as a german citizen. I would recommend plan at least 2,5 hours, better 3 hours. Just to be safe!
Where do you need to go? Maybe an ICE directly from the airport station is a better choice?
@@Reens-Rails Hi thank you for your reply and suggestion, it really helps.
The ICE train that i may use only depart from Frankfurt Hbf or Hanau according to DB app, so i think going to Frankfurt is my first choice.
May i know another info about the S bahn interval from Fra airport to Frankfurt Hbf? Thank you
@@thunderbolt7824 You can book the whole trip from the Airport station. That way you won't need to buy two tickets.
There are two railway stations at FRA.
"Frankfurt Flughafen Regionalbahnhof": in the basement. For S-Bahn and Regional services and...
"Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof"= Long Distance ICE services. Just above the regional railway station.
@@Reens-Rails well understood, big thanks for your information and suggestion 👍🏻👍🏻
Hello Reens Rails, we are traveling starting from frankfurt airport to Stuttgart Hbf, i assume there is a train right below the airport travels directly to Stuttgart hbf but i think i'm wrong - seeing your video - we should take a train 12 min ride to reach frankfurt (Main) Hbf ? i purchase ticket from the main station to stuttgart but now i have to buy another ticket from airport to the main station 12 mins sight seeing. Your video helps a lot thanks
Yes, there is a direct high speed train to Stuttgart. I think every hour.
You will find them at the long-distance station right next to terminal one.
@@Reens-Rails im about to click BUY but you are quick. thanks again.
Where can I take the train from the station Frankfurt hbf to the Airport?? I saw from the video that the train does not arrive at the regular platform, it is underground? Where is it in the station? Thank you very much for your help!!!
Hi there, if you take the S-Bahn, the station is right underneath the central station. There are escalators from the main hall to the S-Bahn station.
@@Reens-Rails the train Is called Deutsche bahn, so I think It is a s-bahn! Thank you!!
Do you have to get out of the train at any point? I didn't think you had but at 2:35 you are out of the train.
No, you dont have to. I created this Video From several ridess.
Reens rails can you tell me how to use the ticket machine. If you put in a extra euro do you get change back. Do you need exact amount. I have to get euros at the airport and go to Karlsruhe. I'm 64 bought plane tickets yesterday for November 2 your video was great thank you. You taught me Shaun. Thank you Martin.

@@martinpazienza1816 Hi Martin, the DB ticket machines can give you change. You also can pay the tickets with credit or debit card. The more relaxed way is to download the "DB Navigator" app and create an account at Deutsche Bahn. There you can look up your route, get live info on the service and buy a ticket aswell. There are several direct ICE trains from the ariport station to Karlsruhe. If you book on your travel date, it will cost 40 €, if you would book a ticket in advance you can get the same ICE ticket for 20 €, but in that case, you are not flexible and have to use the specific train.
Reen rails thank you kindly. Have a nice day Martin and pensacola say hello.
Braucht man den Ticket einkaufen? Für fahren Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof
Ja, du musst ein Ticket kaufen um zum Hauptbahnhof zu kommen.
@@Reens-Rails Danke schön
