Buy some missing interior pieces, get not ripped seats, and well, you get it. I got it last October so I'm still thinking on what I do want to do because well, I haven't gotten a whole lot done because I don't want to work in the cold, as I don't have a heated garage.
What exhaust you running? I just got a 82 z and have a 350 to put in, don't know what exhaust is best but I'm sure your setup would be good with my motor! Much appreciated
Lol, I know. I ended up putting the nitto’s on when the old tires got low. The cheap tires up front had good tread so I didn’t see the point in changing them. I never autocrossed it or took tight turns fast and they were fine in the rain.
@@adamspitfire I definitely will, it sat for a while so there’s some issues that it came with, alternator just went and rear main seal is bad, but I started a new job so I’ll be putting a ton of work into it, it’s only a v6 so it’s getting swapped, only had 26k miles when I got it and now it’s a little over 30k miles
It has a large cam in it, that's overlap, the time the exhaust and intake valves are open at the same time. Not good for low rpm power or for a good idle, but upper rpm power is significantly higher then stock. But even though the idle is considered "bad", nothing can beat the rumpity rump of a cammed chevy v8
@@A7XFanForever141 that's idling too low. That's not all overlap. It needs to be idled up. He's trying to make it seem like it has a bigger cam than it really does.
@@RareRS partly right it is the overlap which causes the thump but where you are saying its idling too low it does sound like he has it under load and in gear which makes it sound idling too low but really idling where it should under load. But could be wrong it might be in neutral or the trans brake also known as park
