Hello friend, first of all I want to thank you for the videos, which are very helpful for all of us who have a minirider. I want to ask if you have had speed problems on any minirider. Mine starts to move from speed number 4 to 6, in speeds 1 2 3 it doesn't move, I have checked the belts, cleaned filters, carburetor, and I haven't had good results. Some people talk to me about the magnetic clutch, but I have looked for it on the MTD website but I can't find it, could you help me or make a video related to changing the magnetic clutch if it has one? Hello there! These do not have a magnetic clutch but it is variable many times the double pulley in back just behind the engine does not move freely and will cause this
Another good video.👏 I have the same model that the exhaust valve keeper came off. I believe the previous owner tried to set the gap on the valves because the cap that goes between the valve stem top and the rocker arm was missing. Anyways, ive tried to compress the valve spring to get the keeper back holding the spring. No luck. Can it be done without removing the head and doing it??🤔 Not looking forward to doing that.😢 Please advise thanks.🤝
It can be done without removing the head but it is rather difficult. I use my thumbs, line it up and lock it on but if you can get a sping compressor somewhere on there it may be easier for you
Before you know it they’re going to have safety switches on mowers that won’t allow you to touch it until you show proof of age and safety operator course! That chute safety is definitely overkill. I’d probably disable it. 😂🔧👍

This happens so often it is not even funny! Especially the brake switch, it gets ripped off or turned and causes this same thing
another so called safety switch. Fuel cut off solenoid on the carb will keep them from running!! Keep up the good work thanks!

I see so many things shoved in between the plastic and chute or mulch cover it is not even funny. Most interesting one I have found is a butter knife

That switch has been a problem since day one and it makes owners mad at the manufacturer because it is so weak and junk plastic 😢😢😢
