Dean is just a very humble passionate dude it shows and you can feel that vibe. Something about him being passionate just make me wanna hangout with the dude all day and soak up knowledge like a sponge
Don't need the product. Don't want the product. Not remotely interested in the product. Yet oddly I thoroughly enjoy watching Dean showing how to set one up! 👍
Looks like a great product. Well constructed. I know Cory is always thinking can I make this better? I say yes. Dividers, the average fish keeper might only need one of these, but the average hobbyists might need several. I think an insert that divides into 1/3s or 1/4s would be nice.
Great information! I probably will not hatch eggs but watching this video I did learn something new! I have never turned the suction cups when installing them on an item! 🤔 what a simple yet great thing to know! Thanks Dean!
I liked the video... think it helped to see how one works (since I’ve never even seen one in person much less used one)... but I’m curious... I know that you can use them on Pleco eggs but that’s about it... what other species eggs can it be used with? Is there a maximum number of eggs (or volume of eggs) that it can be used with at 1 time? Also, if one of the eggs sticks to the bottle, do you open it back and get it free floating? Would it even be safe to do that?.... I’m loving these product introduction videos btw, keep em coming. :)
I have some many thoughts right now. At one point I had 25-35 homemade tumblers going. Anything from a old box filter to so filter lift tubes with screen glued on the bottom.
How do u get the eggs out of the terra-cotta cones? Are the eggs sticky or not? Have 7 L129 false zebras I’m trying to breed soo yea don’t know yet if the eggs stick inside the cone.. which would make me wonder how to get them into the ziss which I have
These aren’t much different than the ones sold on eBay. Works in a different way but accomplishes the same thing. They both work great! Ziss is always way overpriced though. The cheaper egg tumbler sold on Amazon and eBay works just fine! I have both and have hatched thousands in both of them.
I'm wanting to hatch shrimp but I.im worried about to much salty water going into my tropical fish tank can I hatch them in fresh water? Or will this unit work not being totally under water? How can I get around this problem? Thanks
Hi Dean, I have a question about tumbling L046 eggs… do I need to separate the eggs from each other? I currently have 2 juvenile shrimp in the tumbler with a clump of 11 eggs. I’ve only ever used the tumbler once before for these fish, I did separate the eggs from each other but still lost most to fungus
Not even remotely true! I breed Bristlenose by the thousands and I use the ziss egg tumblers, never has one baby ever escaped through the screen! They are way to big even when they first hatch! The person who commented and the others who gave thumbs up to his comment clearly have never hatched Bristlenose in a ziss egg tumbler!
@@mjh00124o the screen in the ziss egg tumblers are all the same! Theirs not a Pleco species that exists that’s small enough as a hatchling to fit through the screen! Not even close! Your clearly are either making things up or you have never used a ziss egg tumbler and are talking about another type of egg tumbler! Those are the only options! The good thing is, the people who really have used the ziss egg tumbler will see that you are so very wrong and making things up! You got called out. Except it!
@@ZYGTropicals "calling me out" lol I am giving you my experience and my experience is long and varied my plecos are just clever ninjas it's a ziss tumbler that's what it said on the box I just have to tell the to behave next time
Just wondering if this would work to hold carbon to remove medication in a tank as long as it was adjusted to avoid tumbling and just gently move water through the media?
I need advice. I’m trying to breed Rainbow Shiners. Had 100 eggs in tumbler, 20 hatched, now down to 2-5. 10 days old. Just tails. When do I transfer to a grow-out tank and feed BBS? Any help would be great.
The thing is not how to use the device but how you remove the eggs (angels fish for e.g.) which sticks hard to the surface they are on. How to move them without damage to the tumbler?
I’ve never even once seen a ziss air valve that doesn’t work! They are the Ferrari of plastic air valves! If it’s broken, you’d be able to visibly see that it’s broken! Otherwise it’s user error!
There is often a little plastic burr. Remove the black handle piece entirely and then make sure the edge is clean. The ziss ones do work, but there are defect rates of course. If you have issues, get a brass one or stainless one.
How did I used to be? Considering this channel brand has always been advertising my business, it’s the same. If you mean wish I could travel the world again? Sure but COVID is preventing that.
I have no clue what your talking about! 🤔 Cory provides us all with great info and great products and great how to videos that he backs up from experience and gives us top quality products at prices no one can beat! Please Cory, keep doing things the way you do! You help my tropical fish breeding immensely!!! 👍😃
Love the channel! Love your videos! Hope mine gets as big as yours! Cheers from me and my daughter! Love From Canada! Ps. If you could swing on over to my videos in your spare time, I would appreciate it so much!

Hi big fan of the channels! Is there a trick for stopping the eggs from getting sucked up the tube when putting the top on?
I'm a simple man, Dean promotes a product, I buy it.
That's a shill mindset for you!

Love it every time Dean goes on the video
I love that Dean just has fake fish eggs laying around.
Right?!
They are yellow air soft pellets!

That looks to be a superb tumbler. Fantastic job showing us how it works Dean.
I need this in my fish room, cause Dean is the man!

Interesting design I'm sold. Thanks for another great dean review

What a great video of “how to do”. I love your shop and and videos

Thank You Master Breeder Dean.
Love your videos and Excellent advice & breeding techniques. 👏👏👏👏
Watched this video, ended up buying it. Thank goodness. Our pleco just kicked its eggs out. They look good and are in the tumbler now.
Pretty tempted to try this now!!! Way to upsell @Aquariumcoop!!
Love all the fish knowledge Dean.
Looks great!!
Will have to keep this in mind for the future

Yellow air soft pellets!
I’m going to need one of these!
Is this product gonna be available on amazon canada for us canadian fish lovers?

Smart using the yellow air soft pellets as fake eggs! 👌👍
Do you put anything in the tumbler to give the eggs nutrition like food
Do you recommend this for hatching myMedaka rice fish
