Very good point about that ridiculous GM Hummer. I am so disappointed that GM is going to build that absurd beast. What is the point of going electric if you’re still going to waste 90% of the energy used?
GM hasnt built a vehicle I'd own again since about 1985. I cant believe anyone would choose their truck over literally any other brand. They cant even get the front left running light to work for 20 years now! If you havent noticed you will now. Easy to spot a chevy truck coming at you because garunteed that lights out.
@@shmodzilla I have actually noticed the running lights on GM trucks being out a lot, but honestly never noticed it whether it was the left or right. My neighbor had it happen on his GM SUV. Not sure on the doors - do they have roll up windows - and is there a heater + AC option? If you are going to spend over $20K, these seem like necessary add ons options. If you live in an area like Texas, you will need both AC and heat.
I drive my current Arcimoto right down to 32-degrees, and all you need is bottom doors to keep the wind off your legs (I wear riding chaps, currently). The Arcimoto has heated seats and a defroster that make it pretty comfortable without the wind, and the fairing keeps the rest of the wind (and rain) out. Now, take those doors off and it is built-in A/C at 30 mph+. I live in Eastern WA where it gets -5 in the Winter and +115 in the summer, so yah, Texas.... One last point: every electron spent on heating and cooling reduces range.
Don't need AC on something that is classed as a motorcycle. The biggest problem is no defrost IMO if the weather gets cold enough to fog up the window or build ice what do you do about it?
@@melchizedek077 The Arcimoto is classed as an autocycle by the government. The MC classification only applies to the infancy of insurance company categories - glad for that as my insurance is $800 cheaper than it was with an old car in Florida. The FUV has a three speed *electric defroster* for its windshield.
I like what they are doing so far. I've been hoping someone would manufacture a small lightweight tilting aerodynamic fully or semi-enclosed tadpole three wheel electric auto-cycle for a long time. An modern electric version of a Messerschmitt KR200 cabin scooter would be awesome. If it had a small frontal frontal area and low drag coefficient I'd put money down in a heartbeat.
I really like the form of the tilting wheel trike. It looks generally useful in Missoula. One thing that i would like better on it would be a shorter stem on the steering more like some of the ape hangers in a v shape.
I know right. The idea itself has been around for decades. Why are we just starting to implement it? Because there was no money in it for the capitalists.
Those doors are ace. Really great for ensuring your shopping doesn't suddenly decide to go walkies & you don't realise until several miles on down the road when it's too late & the bread, milk etc has long since been squashed into oblivion by other traffic. Love all the other accessories too; great thought processes.
Doors are dead weight and they don't use steel beams for protection like car doors do. I added cargo webbing to enclose the passenger seat area. Very large capacity, so big you can skip the $750 trunk option which is small in comparison. Also it is common practice to just strap in a cooler for groceries.
Might a rectangular or square tank provide greater stability than the round shape chosen for the fire fighting version, especially where the vehicle may be travelling over uneven ground; less chance of it shifting at the worst possible moment & be commensurate with the shape of the loading bed, possibly affording greater liquid capacity.
Speculation? They appear to be focused on limiting materials and weight. Spheres and cylinders are inherently stronger & more stable than squares & rectangles.
@@elizabethbottroff1218 You're probably right about weight but I was also thinking in terms of a shape that fitted more more snugly into the carrying bed which is either square or slightly rectangular. Also if applying the liquid weight reduction requirement, you could lower the center of gravity, increasing vehicle stability, by using a rectangular or square container that is lower in height than current cylinder shape, yet retain same volumetric fluid/s.
As an investor, I see this fitting right in between the Tesla $25k car and anything under with the bike and Arcs both and should be the solution to fill that bottom price point gap!
Great presentation! However this event wasn’t exactly what I thought it was going to be; would of been nice to save this event for when the ramp up process was ready.

It looks really promising. I hope these developments work for you. Because I've so far lost 75% of my investment. It would be nice to see those numbers going up again. Ideally, I want to make enough off my investments that I can afford a FUV.
Dude, you bought at the wrong time!!! Arcimoto was a $5.00 stock when the surge in prices came last year. And, guess what? They're back to $5.00. So, assuming you sold between $11.00 and $31.00 when it surged, it's time to get back in. If you bought at $20.00, then it's time to dollar-cost average that investment! BTW, Arcimoto is no longer a $5.00 valued stock; however, because of the current bear market and the idiotic surge in their stock's price last year, most investment advisers still call it a "hold." They're wrong, but that's because none of their stock analysts are systems engineers, just guys with a finance degree who know how to read a balance sheet, but don't know what it means (i.e., how a balance sheet looks like the company is failing when all they are doing is making a large capital expenditure on ... like ... tooling a large factory). The same thing happened with Tesla when they started producing the Model S. Musk nearly went *bankrupt* during that year as Wall Street kicked them when they were down.
@@darinladd5312 yeah, I've moved some cash to my account. When it clears I plan to buy another 10 shares. If everything else dies, Berkshire Hathaway will eventually make up the losses.
PEBL shut down and was outsourced to Germany. They still have no production model 2 years later. PEBL was a 20 mph 1hp vehicle while the FUV tops out over 80 mph with 77hp. Troll harder, loser.
I beg, before you’ve already hit mass production in the plastics division; check out organic based materials before sticking with dinosaurs/previously lived plants. Olive pits and Dandelions…
A US car-bike company sold a vehicle with a hemp fiber and resin body. They started selling until the bodies were found to disintegrate in southern climates. They never recovered from the recall for that disaster.
I really, really like that three wheeled e-bike. And I mean really! Is anyone else feeling like this? The pedal generator is some next level silliness, though, I hope there is someone at Arcimoto with enough sense to get rid of this shit.
So I'm sure it charges from the wall as well as the pedal generator, that was a possibly confusing bit of whimsy to show off just the generator. Having the pedals run a generator lets you dial in whatever effort level/"gear ratio" you'd like, in software.
My take on the generator may be wrong but what I picture is generating electricity and sending it to the battery then to the hub motors. No chains/belts needed, no need to wall charge unless you want to. Don’t turn the motors on if you just want to charge. I like it! FUV is my 2nd largest holding and is getting larger on Monday! Go gettem’ Mark!
Sorry Arcimoto but I have asked for doors (and windows) since you guys went public with the FUV. Without a closed cab the FUV is a nonstarter in any market where the snow flies. You aren’t there yet.
Winters in the north used to mean holing up for 4 months with a mountain of firewood and dried foods. When we started bashing through all weather by abusing fossil fuels in climate controlled personal vehicles we went down a dead end road. You are already at the end of that road, admit it or not. We don't want no stinkin' doors. They do nothing for safety with this design, just dead weight. The FUV batteries can not operate below freezing anyways. There are heated seats and hand grips and a wrap around windshield.
-Everybody is making evs and vtols startups YAY!!! We're so smart. -Who is making the batteries? -Uh..i gues there's a dude, not sure, i believe...uhmm.....

@@popeyegordon no need for google fact checking dude, just walk outside and compare ice vs electric afordability on the streets, then use common sense and calculate the realistic next 10 years.
@@Paccekabuddha Your innumeracy disqalifies you from doing what you suggest. Your personal concept of common sense excludes the largest part of the value of EVs - no gas to buy, less environmental damage that costs everyone on the planet in ultiple ways. A clear thinking educated adult would not accept a gas powered vehicle given to them for free because those are more expensive in the log run.
@@popeyegordon and where are those free EVs? Inside your common sense i guess? At least not here in the developing countries for the next 15 years at least i can bet
@@Paccekabuddha Nobody mentioned free EVs until you did just now. They ARE much cheaper to own and insure but nobody gives them away free except for some free e-bike programs. Oregon gives out a full $5000 cash rebate if you buy one, that is a huge discount. The cleaner air we enjoy by using EVs is a bonus that benefits every human on Earth. EVs are being adopted all over the world. Electric busses first in some countries. Electric trains in others. Electric outboard motors in fishing villages are helping some poor fishermen. There are electric planes too. Ebikes and light EV rickshaws with solar panel roofs will be the first to come to some developing countries.
You do not need a motorcycle license to drive the FUV, deliverator, or rapid response vehicles in HI, LA, or FL. (You do need it for the roadster, however.) GA, KY, and WV allow the 3 wheeled Polaris vehicle to be driven with a regular license. Not sure how they classify the FUV, though.
Not really. There are videos showing how dry the driver stays in rain. A billion motorcycles all over the world are used in all conditions except deep snow. They don't have a roof or wrap around windshield with heated defroster or wiper/washer. Or any doors at all for that matter.
@@popeyegordon Motorcyclists wear waterproof leathers, gloves and a crash helmet. Also, unless you've got somewhere covered to park it, rain plus strong wind equals a perpetually damp interior in some climates. If you're going to get a wet arse every time you try to use it without waterproofs, why not just buy a motorcycle?
@@edwardmullins2176 We have had time to figure this out. Autocycles don't need helmets. There is no interior as you relate to cars - no carpet, nothing water can damage. Just painted steel and a weather resistant dash. We carry a waterproof seat cover to add when we get out of the seat. When we are ready to go again the seat is dry. We have a great custom fit weather cover available from California Car Cover. We use light rain gear, leather was adopted by bikers because it would not rub through easily and give you road rash but we are buckled in tightly. We can drive barefoot or in flip flops.
@@popeyegordon I only mentioned helmets and leathers in regards to the weather projection used by motorcyclists after your comparison between the two vehicles, and the massive popularity of the former despite the lack of a sealed cabin. This is a false equivalence as motorcyclists are wearing their weather protection, while an arcimoto driver presumably won't be unless they want to drive around in a rain hat and coat so the spray coming into the cabin on a rainy day doesn't soak their clothes. While this may work in places like California, until this has a sealed cabin I don't see it having much appeal in windy countries like the UK, that get an average of 130 days of rain a year (170 in 2020) I like the idea of and technology behind the Arcimoto, but I'm very skeptical about this seeing mass adoption, especially for commercial fleets. A three seater variant could potentially be used as an auto rickshaw in places like India, but I doubt many could afford it. Also, the notion that this will make any meaningful contribution to tackling climate change seems naive at best, and cynical corporate spin at worst. Rather than buy a second or third 'car' as a kind of novelty leisure vehicle, it would be far better for the environment if people walked, cycled or used existing public transport.
@@edwardmullins2176 That's total bullshit about you denying lighter vehicles won't help climate change. I owned a motorcycle while living in the HOH rain forest for 5 years, 200 inches a year but when conditions were reasonable the bike saved me from using the car or van I had. Stop with all the ridiculous nit picking about rain gear - there is a trunk in which any number of garments can be ready to use. The whole damn country is going electric. Admit it or not, like it or not. Car makers have all announced their plans very publicly. Arcimoto is on the leading edge of the bell curve representing the change. Smart concerned people want to stop stealing resources from future generations as soon as is humanly possible. Deniers like you are dying off or being 'replaced'.
It is astounding to me that it requires this much technology just to transport one or two people around the planet. WHY are we so complicated?? I love your Arcimoto, and I will buy one. But it still amazes me that we humans are not capable of doing things more simply. (Like trying to develop an ink pen that would work in space under zero gravity. NASA spent billions. Russians used the pencil.) I ride an e-bike.
The internal combustion engine is simpler. Look what that got us. I rode ebikes for 7 years which allowed me to save up for my Arcimoto. Worth the wait.
You lied by a factor of several thousand and the pen was developed by private industry. Lies just discredit you and poison the whole internet further. Pencils were a terrible idea, they shed toxic dust and sharpening is messy. *Uses in the U.S. and Russian space programs* "The development of the thixotropic ink cost Paul Fisher around $1 million (equivalent to $8.6 million in 2021). NASA - and the Soviets - eventually began purchasing such pens." Space Pen - Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Space_Pen
No. It's better that way. It uses flat tread surface car tires 4.5 and 5.5 inches wide with much more rubber on the road than rounded motorcycle tires. Motorcycles can spin out on wet pavement or just a little oil on the road.
Maybe a good suggestion: Make the vehicle collapsible in size a little bit so that it will fit sideways in a single apartment parking spot with a car. I think it's possible. Make some of the width liftable in the air like maybe the entire chassis.
False. It was always supposed to cost $17,900 in 2022. The first series, Signature series, cost $45K. The next Evergreen series cost $25K. Then the big factory was acquired and started cranking out the FUV for $17,900. I was so excited I bought one and after ten months still very happy with it. So much more economical than any car. In the year 2018 a projection was made that a $12K mass produced version would be in the future. With lniflation that will be about $14K in 2023.
Nor do you deserve them. Expect something for nothing is the motto of investors who do not care that any profits come directly from the paychecks and benefit packages of the workers who actually add value to the company by doing the work.

FUV fire truck is an ill informed concept for a multitude of reasons, the Arcimoto is far better suited as a parking enforcement or pizza delivery vehicle than for fire, aid or police.
@@popeyegordon Your statement is... False, I have three decades as a fire/aid responder. The Arcimoto was not designed by firefighters, the company is attempting to adapt their tandem FUV to increase sales.
@@olsonspeed I was incorrect about you being a non-fire fighter, assuming you are honest, but I was correct in that a design like this is not simply pulled out of someone's ass. The needs were surveyed and this niche was identified. It has been demonstrated in a video to be an effictive first responder that can prevent a major fire by getting there first. It is far more affordable than a helicopter. Firefighters had no idea it was even possible to have a vehicle with this kind of performance so obviously nobody tried to design it. Arcimoto had 14 years of prototypes to come up with the platform.
@@popeyegordon The Arcimoto was designed as a FUV, fun utility vehicle, they are attempting to adapt it to be an emergency response vehicle. A downsized vehicle is not a new concept to emergency responders, a three-wheeled fire truck was attempted and abandoned in the early 1900s. Bicycles, motorcycles, ATV, and minivans are currently being used effectively in special use case response situations, my department currently uses bicycles and a John Deer Gator, previously we had a pickup based mini-pumper. A tandem, three wheeler is inferior platform to use as a base as a firefighting or aid vehicle, it has the same width as an ATV but does not have the stability or 4-WD offered in a side-by-side configuration. Do more research, don't buy into slick video presentations or marketing hyperbole.
@@olsonspeed As an owner you can't tell me about this product. I have one. The fire version is a single seater. It is for the smallest of first responder appications and can go 80 mph on open road where an ATV can not. It is extremely stable for an on-road vehicle. Watch as the sales happen and the videos of it accumulate. One year from today you can come back with some authority, but not now.
An enclosed E-trike would be perfect for me if it could reach a commuter speed of at least about 40 mph to simply be able to get to me to work and keep up with normal traffic flow. I'll get a motorcycle license, that's not a show-stopper! .. Remember.. work, work, work .. jobs, jobs, jobs, .. that's what it's all about! .. Enclose it, get it up to speed, and I'll buy it!
20 years too late, how is it china is so far ahead of us....... so many other countries have buses that are fully electric, we are so far behind, its ridiculous,
No. Larger cars are the problem. They use too much fuel and resources. This is one solution to that problem. Their R & D design with a steering wheel weighed 280 pounds more and was 18 inches longer.
I just completed my first year of owning the FUV for all my transportation needs. What a thrill. What disappoints me is those who refuse to even think about switching to an EV. I am also pleased to see Arcimoto's quarterly reports of continued steady growth during a a pandemic/war economy that is killing many businesses globally.
Whoopie Doo!!!!!! Not interested in this kind of vehicle. First it is not a family oriented type of vehicle, it would be terrible in the Winter Cold States, and there is very little storage space for what we need a vehicle for. To me, it is just an expensive play toy which I think goes for around 20,000 dollars. I don't know if my state would even classify this as a bike or a car, if we need to wear a helmet. Not interested in it anyway.
Then why did you bother to comment? It doesn't have to be ideal for everyone to be a great move towards sustainability. A snowmobile is not a failed design just because it is worthless in Florida.

Mine will need a cover shell, so it might be 1/50th of a Hummer.
@@melchizedek077 turn on the defrost. it's there. it works.
Wish I knew. Congratulations
GO GO GO!!!!!!!
I really like the form of the tilting wheel trike. It looks generally useful in Missoula. One thing that i would like better on it would be a shorter stem on the steering more like some of the ape hangers in a v shape.
FUV $1B market cap or $0 are both possibilities but worth the risk. I keep adding shares monthly.
Strong conviction is the way to go.
Hurrah! I wanted a stationary bike that would charge a battery since… last century!
That ebike is pretty cool, the way it tilts. Is that 3-wheel drive?
It is!
I love arcimotos but what bout the windows on the side doors???
So.... wondering if you guys ever plan to integrate the TMW tech into the FUV. I figure I can't be the only one wondering.
Are for the Arcimoto also doors available??? See in many pics doors but never see a video, and if this can be removed for somer winter.
Are these Arcimotos large enough to carry someone 6 foot
Upto 350 lbs?
Mark is six foot four and I think the carrying capacity is 600 puonds. So yeah, should be no problem
Good point. Big guys love to have fun too.
Hopefully you guys can move into a 4680 battery configuration and just buy from Tesla or BYD at some point if it makes sense to go that route.
Will electric motor work without peddling …I’m disabled so I can’t peddle.
Great presentation! However this event wasn’t exactly what I thought it was going to be; would of been nice to save this event for when the ramp up process was ready.
When can we get it in South Africa

Great, another new product, and you still can’t deliver the one you promised three years ago.

Can you please guide me to purchase some of Arcimoto stocks?
Thank you in advance

I think you need to make a surf mobile cool one, i could sell many. One that is cool like a old school vw van that hold Surfboads. I would sell them at my retail center on hwy 101 in encinitas ca
Owners have already made a surf board rack for side mounting. The company already sells a golf bag rack.

I managed to catch Lucid just before the top, but they have a pretty impressive car so I'm hoping they click with customers.
Honestly, the reason my portfolio is mostly in the black is because I bought some Berkshire B to cushion the speculative buys. If everything else dies, Berkshire Hathaway will eventually make up the losses.
Hold on tight. Short sellers are crapping their right now. They will have to cover and your days will be brighter. They're keeping the price down.
Needs a puncture proof tire
Not any more than any other vehicle. We carry a pump and a patch kit that will hande about half of all flat tires.
Did you guys get this from PEBL??
PEBL shut down and was outsourced to Germany. They still have no production model 2 years later. PEBL was a 20 mph 1hp vehicle while the FUV tops out over 80 mph with 77hp. Troll harder, loser.
I beg, before you’ve already hit mass production in the plastics division; check out organic based materials before sticking with dinosaurs/previously lived plants.
Olive pits and Dandelions…
Recyclable plastics could be one way to go. Check out what Aduro Clean Technology is planning on doing with plastics. Pretty cool.
A US car-bike company sold a vehicle with a hemp fiber and resin body. They started selling until the bodies were found to disintegrate in southern climates. They never recovered from the recall for that disaster.
Knew I shoulda shorted this company.
Should have given more specs on next generation battery and a more precise date it will be ready
How can they have specs for the public when the first prototype has not been built and tested?

There is fun riding with two wheels available as well ruclips.net/video/C5UB4AtKY7s/видео.html Extremely fun and highly recommendable!
Is Arcimoto still in business or have they folded due to running out of cash?
Google is your friend when you use it first, and your nemesis when you go off half cocked without fact checking yourself before commenting. Battery suppliers are multiplying faster than vehicle makers and recycling of batteries has begun.
Too bad that we need a motorcycle license to drive this.
It looks cool, but unless it gets windows, it seems entirely impractical in cold or wet countries.
While this may work in places like California, until this has a sealed cabin I don't see it having much appeal in windy countries like the UK, that get an average of 130 days of rain a year (170 in 2020)
I like the idea of and technology behind the Arcimoto, but I'm very skeptical about this seeing mass adoption, especially for commercial fleets.
*Uses in the U.S. and Russian space programs*
"The development of the thixotropic ink cost Paul Fisher around $1 million (equivalent to $8.6 million in 2021). NASA - and the Soviets - eventually began purchasing such pens."

But the car doesn't lean???? Ever?
No. It's better that way. It uses flat tread surface car tires 4.5 and 5.5 inches wide with much more rubber on the road than rounded motorcycle tires. Motorcycles can spin out on wet pavement or just a little oil on the road.
I don't really see Arcimoto working out with Aptera coming. Sorry guys. Gl tho.
Maybe a good suggestion: Make the vehicle collapsible in size a little bit so that it will fit sideways in a single apartment parking spot with a car. I think it's possible. Make some of the width liftable in the air like maybe the entire chassis.
They said the same thing about Android when they wanted to get into smartphones.
This is supposed to cost 17000 dollars. Still excited?
Stakeholders unite! We don't need no stinking profits.

FUV fire truck is an ill informed concept for a multitude of reasons, the Arcimoto is far better suited as a parking enforcement or pizza delivery vehicle than for fire, aid or police.
Says a non-fireman about a vehicle that was designed to fill a specific demand as communicated by actual firemen.
No. Climate controlled vehicles are what got us in this mess in the first place. Cars are boring while open sides keep us in touch with nature.
20 years too late, how is it china is so far ahead of us....... so many other countries have buses that are fully electric, we are so far behind, its ridiculous,
No. That is totally incorrect. China's vehicles are cheap crap and death traps. We have electric busses.
This just me world make it with four wheels and a steering wheel
No. Larger cars are the problem. They use too much fuel and resources. This is one solution to that problem. Their R & D design with a steering wheel weighed 280 pounds more and was 18 inches longer.
What a disappointment looking back on this.
Oh, that is why your stock is in the basement ,because of all your "forward thinking".
Not anything like "in the basement". You lied.
It is now.
