I’m going to have to find the $$ for my personal FUV somehow/somewhere that doesn’t involve selling the stock. I think this company has a great future.

EV batteries last far longer now. Even when they are retired they still work for home solar storage. 8 to 10 years. By then the batteries will be so much better and lighter you will be impatient to replace them for the upgrade and trade-in value.

My thing is can a product empower the consumer. I think this does, the side panels make it basically an electric car, it has good range, seems comfortable. If I had the money I might get one given a little more research. If you simplify it to the point that it's easy and convenient for the owner to repair that would be ideal. Simple , easy to repair products, especially vehicles empower the people , not corporations.
How about the wind in a typical rainstorm? Not a good emergency vehicle in bad weather. How about a modest snowstorm? He just admitted not a good long distance commuter
I work in parking enforcement and I'm not sure that a trike is the best way to get through urban congestion efficiently. You lose the ability to lane split, in fact with the two front wheels you gain nothing over a car. The second issue is finding a park when you reach your destination, generally people have parked illegally because there is a lack of legal parks available, you can not squeeze one of these between two parked vehicles. Where I do see an advantage is in being able to store paperwork and spare clothing more readily. It is quite possible that a helmet may required because the vehicle has handlebars, (the 4 wheel post office vehicles require a helmet for that reason). We are in the process of switching to electric motorcycles.
I like this concept, but it all comes down to cost of production. The upcoming Tesla compact vehicle will not be that much larger than the Arcimoto in terms of the space that it takes up parking and on the road. But it will be massively more useful with full self driving. So the Arcimoto must be much less costly to produce than the Upcoming Tesla compact, and it can’t be that much more than upcoming electric scooters.
A fancy presentation, company listed on a stock exchange, fully funded and just about to start production. Sounds a lot like the first responder jetpack from the Martin Aircraft Company once based in Christchurch, New Zealand, which ultimately folded after wasting A$80m in investor funding. The saddest thing of all in this "modern" society is that in none of the new vehicle models that are manufactured (especially those that are so practical, small and cheap) the automotive engineers and manufacturers at the time of projecting them; they do not take into account the concept of "universal design" or design for all people (which consists of conceiving and projecting from the origin, environments, processes, goods, products, services, objects, instruments..., in such a way that they can be used by all people, to the greatest extent possible). And I reflect on this because in the design of these small vehicles, the engineers have not thought in the slightest about enabling access and driving for people who use wheelchairs, despite being a considerable number of citizens worldwide, who by our own limitation and our difficulties in accessing public transport, we have a greater need for a vehicle to get around than those who walk without any difficulty.
Quiet. Totally silent at low speeds, I added a bike bell to mine as a courtesy in parking lots. Above 30 as the revs build, the twin motors sound like a jet turbine. That's the best part for me. Exciting!

Why can't I get this with a 250cc ICE engine??? Love the concept, love the size... not in love with the battery, not at all. It's a deal breaker. I ride an electric bicycle basically every day, so I'm not against EV, but I can pedal my bike when it runs low on juice. I ride my bike around town; I'd buy something like this for further trips. Just not when it's powered by battery. Put an engine in it!

No. Only the most northern states find these impractical. Across the entire sun belt this is a very sustainable vehicle choice. It has heated seats and bar grips.
I've watched a lot of video's on this vehicle and [none] of them talk about the Warranty on the entire vehicle itself - especially the 'Battery and electric Motor life'. Tesla now warrants their battery for life, or 1 Million miles, whichever you want to call it. No one can compete with that.
Does the cost of producing these Electric Vehicles cost more pollution? What happens to the battery dies out? If you get hit by a car, truck, or any bigger vehicles what are the chances of you surviving the accident? If you are sitting in the back you might need a helmet. Lack of visibility is dangerous but lack of protection is also dangerous. If you get stuck in traffic, with an open cockpit you’ll be breathing all that vehicle exhaust pollution. But I see great utility use for it...

Does the cost of producing these Electric Vehicles cost more pollution? What happens to the battery dies out? If you get hit by a car, truck, or any bigger vehicles what are the chances of you surviving the accident? If you are sitting in the back you might need a helmet. Lack of visibility is dangerous but lack of protection is also dangerous. If you get stuck in traffic, with an open cockpit you’ll be breathing all that vehicle exhaust pollution. But I see great utility use for it...
